Buh-Bye, Folks
The Washington Times ^ | July 26 2010 | Jennifer Harper

(Fifth item) "The lifting gets lighter when you drop the ball. Congress is about to adjourn for a six-week summer recess — the longest in memory. This despite the fact that Democrats have completely failed to address Americans' worries about the economy, unemployment, reckless spending, skyrocketing debt, job-killing tax hikes, rising health care costs, endless bailouts, and Washington's obstruction of private sector success," says the Republican Study Committee.

What a joke. When it comes to taking vacations, Oboma has them beat hands down!

And then fumigate the place, followed by thorough disinfecting.

I'd recommend an exorcism.

In a by gone era before A/C Congress took the entire summer off ... somehow this country survived their absence ... we should be so lucky.

A significant reform proposal: Congress shall not be in session for over 180 calendar days in any calendar year.

Those who serve in Congress shall be afforded weekly trips to their home district, shall reside in taxpayer-funded dormitories while Congress is in session and be transported by taxpayer-paid busses to-and-from daily sessions.

I could do without the second paragraph, so long as the first one was in force.

Also, see if the GOP will join in.

I wouldn't want to bet the farm on that one. They could get their hands dirty and have to spend time with REAL people!!

(Like their Constituents!!)
