Expect to see a lot of analysis about what's going on in New Hampshire after this poll.
Public Policy Polling looked at the Senate race and found a striking change since Republican Kelly Ayotte scored an endorsement from Sarah Palin.
As a former attorney general, Ayotte has already run statewide and voters considering who they want to succeed retiring Sen. Judd Gregg ought to be at least somewhat familiar with her. But the Mama Grizzly seal of approval seems to have raised some doubts about Ayotte with the biggest bloc of voters in the state.
Ayotte's lead over Rep. Paul Hodes, the likely Democratic nominee, has been cut to 45 percent to 42 percent. That's within the 3.6-point margin of error.
Writes pollster Tom Jensen:
"There's not much doubt that the shift in the race is all about Ayotte. Hodes' favorability numbers have seen little change over the last three months. ... But Ayotte's seen a dramatic decline.

The thrill is gone
It’s gone away for good
Oh, the thrill is gone baby
Baby its gone away for good
Someday I know I’ll be over it all baby
Just like I know a man should
Your PMS (Palin Madness Syndrome) is amusing to me.
Perhaps the reason that RINO’s get elected in the Northeast is precisely because they are not as conservative as people are in other parts of the country. Perhaps Palin just doesn’t sell in New Hampshire.
PMS is what the worshipers have:
Amnesty (sung to the tune of Dancing Queen)
In a trance, you can jive, yap like a bored House-wife
(ooo-oooo) See that girl, watch her preen, dig in for Amnes-teee
Friday night and the cameras roll
With Sean or Bill or Geral-do
Where they underhand you softballs, teaching you to swing
Might as well be on Larry King
Anybody with a heart would cry
To see Juan and Pedro and Gomez fry
In the Arizona desert, with the gila monsters
Then havin to hear Tancredos rants
And when you get the chance...
You are for Amnes-tee, as you tweet, a real Mexi-queen
Amnes-tee, feel the guilt from that Limousine (oh yeah)
As if by chance, you arrive, shakier than Barney Fife
(ooo-ooooo) See that girl, on the TV screen, dig in for Amnes-tee
Like old McCain, you can turn it on
Guest workers, Register, and wholl mow my lawn?
Looking out for all our brothers, even with swine flu
You parrot Juans stance
And when you get the chance...
You are for Amnes-Tee, they cut our meat, and they change our sheets
Amnes-tee, so the elite can learn that Salsa beat (oh yeah)
Just like France, festering hives, creating a third world strife
(ooo-oooo) See that girl, just like Charlie Sheen, dig in for Amnes-tee
“Numbers we’ll release tomorrow on the Republican primary show that the Palin endorsement has certainly helped Ayotte on that front. But although Ayotte certainly still has to be viewed as the favorite for the general election, this race is starting to look a little more interesting than it did a month ago.”

Does not Romney own property in NH? Has not
Romney always pushed that HE controls the NH GOP?
Romney, hiding behind the scences, is obviously
helping the DNC and hurting Gov. Palin
at the same time. While having his Romney flacks
feed it to every press.
Very clever, and nasty again, Mitt.
So Palin’s endorsement may help Ayotte win the nomination but lose the general? That’s a Pyrric victory at best.
Using PPP as proof?
C’mon pissant! I get your anti-Palin crusade and frankly can understand it on a few things (and I am a big Palin supporter), but using PPP as proof doesn’t do you any favors...I’m kind of surprised that you beat the DNC out with talking points... /s
lots of good infor in this thread about Rinette Ayotte:
Palin endorses Ayotte, hits rivals in Senate race (Another Pinko Elephant?)

Fiscally conservative yes, socially conservative... not so much.
Call it the FioRino Syndrome
“Fiscally conservative yes, socially conservative... not so much.”

Maybe they’ll grow up one day.
Ayotte is in trouble here because she got dragged into a bad govt scandal. There was a ponzy scheme in the state and Ayotte appears at least partially complicit with the Bank commissioner in getting his bro out from under the money he lost. The gov council and Gov are removing the commissioner. That is further complicated by Ayotte saying she lost - then located - 10,000 emails. She gets killed daily with new relevations. Hodes would lose to anyone, even a dead fish. Ayotte’s fall is not really about Palin.
I know Romney is all things evil for you Diogenesis but Romney did lose big to McCain in the NH primary the last time around... unless losing to McCain was somehow part of Mitt's evil plan to hang around until 2012 and get back at Palin... or something?
Nothing the MSM says is “proof”. Everything they report must be taken with a grain of salt.

Well, she wanted another Mama Grizzly, in this case another Pink(o) Elephant in her cave. And she’s as soft on illegal aliens as Palin.
Agreed, the television ads of Ayotte testifying don't look good and have little to do with Palin's endorsement. This article is just intended to slime Palin by association.
Palin is stuck on this “mama grizzly” thing. Ayotte is OK, but is no Sharron Angle or Michelle Bachman.
NH is still “live free or die” despite the Mass influx and Hodes/Porter abberation. All GOP candidate outpoll Hodes and he will be defeated no matter what.
NH looks like it’s gonna clean house this year.
