I live up here, 25 miles away from the Mosque site in Bergen County NJ.
We are working on a LARGE protest in Rockland County, near the NJ border, well before the November election/ you have to live around here to understand just how hot this issue is......I’d love to see the two enablers, Michael Bloomberg and Andrew Cuomo, continue to hold hands over this issue, with absolute tone-deafness even a beginning pol would be smart enough to avoid, and Cuomo lose the Governor’s race to Lazio, and Bloomberg suffer a precipitous drop in his approval ratings from which he would never recover. At least Lazio started bringing this up, in a direct challenge to AG and Governor wannabe Cuomo, a few weeks ago, demanding Cuomo look into the funding. The other Gov candidate Carl Paladino has only in the last few days changed his usual radio ad to another which claims he will stop the mosque by eminent domain. Little chance of that.
The mosque issue is KEY right now to who will be elected Governor, in my view.
How about a Catholic Cathedral in Saudi Arabia? It would be burned down by the mob and government within one day of its openning.
