Remember when Rand Paul was running in the primary?? He painted himself as an "outsider" who did not believe in "big government" and taxpayer bailouts. Since that time he has proven himself to be quite a hypocrite and a far cry from the fiscally responsible candidate he convinced his supporters he was. From crawling into bed with Mitch McConnell to raise funds, to wanting businesses to discriminate the real Rand Paul started to stand up. Now after he and McConnell enjoyed their after love-making cigarette, Rand Paul is crawling into bed with another unsavory character.
Yes, now Rand Paul is having a whole new love affair. Let us hope that Mitch McConnell is not jealous. Now, Rand Paul is crawling into bed with none other than Jeb Bush, brother of disgraced former President George W. Bush.
But wait, I thought that Rand Paul "opposed" all the bailouts for the bankers. Mitch McConnell was all for throwing taxpayer dollars at the bankers, $700 billion to be exact. And all for the actions of Jeb Bush's brother who crashed the economy and called for the bailouts in the first place. Since birds of a feather flock together how can we really believe that Rand Paul opposes this activity??
And you see, Jeb Bush is no stranger to bailouts and neither is his family. His brother as we all know caused and spearheaded the bailouts just before the last Presidential elections and as it turns out this family and Jeb Bush are not new to bailouts and robbing the taxpayers with them. Remember the S&L crisis of the 80s? Yes, Jeb Bush was right there then and robbed the taxpayer till quite handsomely...

LOL, a Trey Grayson supporter on a conservative web site, no wonder you sound angry.
I supported him, too, and I don’t have to prove my anti-Slick Willard credentials to anyone, ansel.
Good for you, and I don’t see why you guys would want to start re fighting a long over primary when a rino was tromped and isn’t currently a threat.
If you guys want to rehash the primary just visit the old threads and carry on.
I didn’t rehash it, but this badmouthing of Grayson supporters will not help the cause of the Paulistans.
You guys can switch from supporting the Romney loving Trey Grayson to supporting the democrat for all I care, I’m not in the mood to listen to this Trey Grayson nonsense as though he was something besides just another rino.
I am now viewing the GOP as merely the other party of the ruling class wannabees.
So much easier to just be a Washington player and get life time salaries, perks, vote payoffs. Why bother working for freedom of the little people and being shunned by the wannabee ruling class?
Makes the mama grizzlies look more appealing as they fight to save this country for their children and take out the good ole boys in Washington.
We shall see if Junior Paul proves to be anything other than another world-class whackjob like his dad, or engaging in public circle-jerks with traitors like Adam Kokesh.
You posted this crap WHY again?
I agree. George W. Bush was a great president.
Stopped reading there.
I wouldn’t say W’s great. I’d say Ronald Reagan is great. W had his problems, but compared to the Marxist Muslim, he looks better and better every passing day.
Paul wants to let private property owners have the right to decide who they allow on their own private property is racist to this author.
And somehow Jeb Bush supported bailouts because his brother did.
I know! The author is a genocidal maniac like Pol Pot! Pol Pot breathed air... and so does this author, so there you have it. Since they both do the same things, they must both also be genocidal maniacs!
Sheesh!
I, like many here, was terribly disappointed by GW’s liberal moments & policies.
That said, a recent thread reported GW’s favorables were now higher than obozo’s - 45 to 44 respectively.
PS: from your screen name I assume you’re an audiophile? As someone whose business imports high end toys, there’s a few of us here.
That isn't what you wanted? You were the one who brought up Grayson.
I don't know about that. Obama being disliked doesn't mean Bush also isn't. Running GW if that were possible would negate the primary advantage of any other Obama Challenger (that they don't have a Presidential record to attack). Obama would love to run against Bush. His party is still trying to. They know they've got nothing useful to say so they go with "Hey remember, Bush sucked!".
Well, that settles it. Kentuckians should vote for the hapless Conway then.
I heard it said on the radio yesterday that Conway was running a stealth campaign. My guess is that he feels confident enough of the vote fraud capabilities to not worry to much.
On the other hand, giving Conway the benefit of doubt, if your opponent insists on shooting himself in the foot every chance he gets, don’t get in his way.
It must be something stronger than alcohol. GW Bush won both 2006 and 2008 for democrats, and big wins too. He is considered a success along the lines of Jimmy Carter, and for good reason. The only reason Republicans will pick up seats this year is Bush is finally out of office. One more term of GW Bush and democrats would have had every seat in congress. Only democrats talk about Bush now, you never hear one Republican talking about the great Bush days in their campaigns.
Obama’s plunge in popularity does not in any way redeem GW Bush. Bush got him elected,
Bush is still loathed by conservatives. They wouldn’t vote for him again.
Let Jorge Shrub go!
That’s right, Trey sucked, I sure didn’t realize that he had a little click of fans here at this conservative site, now that we are in the general it seems that Conway may have some fans also, weird stuff.
Paul is sure better than the Romney loving, Palin hating, Trey Grayson, who started with a 20 point lead and then disintegrated into a rino loser as the people learned more about him.
Paul leads Grayson among pro-lifers by a 50%-32% margin. Grayson leads Paul among pro-abortion Republicans by a 42%-27% margin.
Conservatives, Christians, social conservatives, and the statewide Kentucky voting population support Rand Paul.
Conservatives favor Paul by 51 percent to 29 percent with 16 percent undecided. Those who attend religious services regularly or occasionally favor Paul by double-digit margins. Gun owners back Paul 48 percent to 22 percent with 22 percent undecided.
Rand Paul leads by double digits among men and women, among conservatives, pro-life voters, gun owners.
Grayson leads today only among the 1 in 5 Republican primary voters who say they are pro-choice.
You’ve got more intestinal fortitude than I. I stopped reading at “...wanting businesses to discriminate...”
