I'm somewhat disappointed that no one ever discusses (what I think) the most rational way to navigate out of this mess.

Obama's in office, he's not going to be impeached, so folks should stop dreaming about it. Instead, they should concentrate their efforts on making their States' Secretaries-of-State to tighten the eligibility requirements for appearing on a ballot. If Obama is not a citizen, then it should catch him the second time.

Generally I agree with that approach.

But after having the HDOH break so many laws right in my face I can tell you that just passing any law is not going to do the job. Hawaii’s laws and rules should have ended this whole hoax before Obama got anywhere. But Fukino hid those rules, disobeyed the rules and laws, made deceptive public announcements, and failed to report a known forgery and perjury.

None of those laws or rules made one lick of difference because the people who were supposed to follow them just farted in everybody’s face. And there wasn’t a dang thing any of us could do about it because we can’t charge government officials with crimes.

Until government, media, and law enforcement KNOW that the people are able to hold them accountable BEFORE the damage is already done, no laws we pass make any difference.

That’s where we’re at right now. We are Mexico.

And THAT is why I doubt the conservative worldview of anybody who poo-poohs this issue. If they don’t know the importance of the rule of law and the protections the Founding Fathers placed against absolute power, they don’t “get it”.
