Colorado Tea Partyers say Tancredo betrayed them

Leaders of 21 state Tea Party groups, representing about 10,000 people, said Sunday they have been betrayed by Tom Tancredo and in an open letter beseeched the former congressman not to run for governor as a third-party candidate.
Tancredo has given Republican gubernatorial candidates until noon today to commit to pulling out of the governor's race after the primary if polls show the winner trailing Democrat John Hickenlooper.
If that doesn't happen, Tancredo says, he'll run for governor as the American Constitution Party candidate.

If you can’t handle sorting out elections and making choices, then by all means drop out and cling to the fantasy that you are too pure and that is why you stopped fighting the democrats.
Every election for a conservative should be an effort to move the nation to the right, but when you don’t get the primary result that you wanted and then sit it out, you are merely serving up power to the left, and the democrat party.
I pray that democrat voters adopt your ways, if enough would then we could take this nation back. Pray for more purity for liberals.

Overlooked here is that this idiotic vanity play by Tancredo has the potential to tip the SENATE race against Ken Buck - a true conservative who we NEED in the senate.
Dan Maes, while maybe not as strong as Scott McInnis, still has the ability to beat leftist Hickenlooper. Polls are basically tied between them.

I'm not dropping out, and I'm not limiting myself to fighting the democrats, I'm fighting liberals, and sometimes those liberals have an (R) next to their name, and I think you understand that based on your comment:

You just said the magic word my friend: conservative. This has to be about moving the nation to the right and you can't do that by supporting Republicans who only pretend to be Conservative. You have to support true Conservatives and only true Conservatives. Anything less is supporting and rewarding the liberals.

You keep repeating yourself but you don’t say anything.
Assuming the fantasy candidate that you hope and dream of never entered any of the primaries, or perhaps in one or two he did, but wasn’t chosen by the voters, what do you do then?

Before I answer or respond to anything else, why do you consider a conservative candidate to be a "fantasy" as you put it?

Doing that childish of a rewrite of what I was asking explains why you can’t get to the point.

I doubt Tommy T could win even if he were the Republican candidate. He has incredibly high negatives and a propensity to say darn near anything to antagonize anybody. This latest gambit is exposing him for the attention whore he is.
I agree the MSM will play him for all he's worth as a foil to try to defeat the Republican candidates.

I say I want to support Conservative candidates, you refer to them as:
Assuming the fantasy candidate that you hope and dream of never entered any of the primaries, or perhaps in one or two he did, but wasnt chosen by the voters, what do you do then?
That's not a childish rewrite.

Nice try at another rewrite, we all want to support conservatives, now answer the question.

This idiot sees no difference at all between John Boehner and Nancy Pelosi, why bother with him.

I told you earlier in the thread - I'll go third party if necessary. Unlike you, I'll put my money where my mouth is and will only support conservatives from now on. If a conservative Republican is running, they get my vote. If the Republican is not conservative, I will not support them.

Speaking of idiots, unless you have proof that John Boehner is a RINO, don't go claiming that I would lump him in with the liberals like Pelosi. As far as I know, he's a conservative, so he's okay in my book, but I fully admit that I've never studied his legislative record.
If you do have proof that you can share with us that Boehner is a RINO, then I would lump him in with the liberals the same as I would any RINO.

A few of those in the tea “party” too, evidently.
Some of whom have revealed themselves as being more interested in riding earl gray coat-tails into the RINO inner ring than in upholding the first principles the American Republic was founded upon - including Law and Order.
