You beat me to it. NBC did it in the early ‘80s. And it was a complete flop.

I watched the game, and it wasn’t a flop. I enjoyed it so much more than Madden/Summerall/etc going on and on “BAM”, etc.

It certainly would be better than hearing Cris Collingsworth ramble about something he doesn’t seem to understand, or Jawarski, or Theisman.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the obvious problem. All the anchors are air-headed pandering morons with liberal agendas. If they would anchor with rock-solid knowledgeable news people (hard to find these days) who treat heroes with the respect they deserve, and treat crooks, idiots, and democrats (but I grow repetitive) with the disdain they have earned, the stations could keep their audiences.
