Support Doug Hoffman - Conservative for NY 23 Congressional District

Lanky, spectacled and soft-spoken, Douglas L. Hoffman looks every bit the certified public accountant, businessman and financial planner he is.

The Saranac Lake resident is a self-made millionaire — a savvy businessman with a seemingly endless reserve of energy who was driven to succeed from an early age.

The story of his business success is interesting, even if it ended there. But last year Mr. Hoffman stepped into the world of politics, launching a third-party bid for New York's 23rd Congressional District seat, which includes 650,000 residents in all or parts of 11 counties, including St. Lawrence, Lewis and Jefferson

This is the guy who got Scuzzy-favaed by the republicans, isn't he. Is he running on the Conservative ticket or GOP? Or both?

Ping.

Please donate to Doug Hoffman for Congress. Now that the Freepathon is over with, if you can afford to do so, let’s get a real conservative elected in NY-23. Here’s the Doug Hoffman campaign website.

Last fall, our group threw everything we had into NY-23 to support Doug Hoffman, not Dede Scozzafava. I was personally working behind the scenes, calling people I know in the Scozzafava campaign to convince her to drop out of the race. It worked, but not quite soon enough. She dropped out and, in a classic backstab to the Republican Party she had called home for years, endorsed the Democratic candidate (who won by a narrow margin).

This time around, let’s make sure that a true conservative is nominated, and wins in November.

Note to Doug: If ALG tries to saddle you with Destructive Dan Tripp again, bolt the doors, lock the liquor closet, and circle the wagons. Last time around you had it won until he came up with his screeching, screaming tirades and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. This time, stick with the winners.
