If the economy/jobs market continues to be as bad as it is, the mid-terms will be disasterous for Dems.
If the Dems lose either/both chambers of Congress, that would be disasterous for the Pubbies in 2012, as it could force Obama more toward the middle — a repeat of Clinton after 1994 mid-terms.
Lots of debate about that, TomGuy. First, Obie has no chance, no know-how, no inclination, no nothing to move to the center. He could be forced to accept a few Pubbie jam-downs but he won't embrace it. Conservative ideas are completely counter to everything he believes. He's not fooling anyone. His plans include one good shot at changing America, and then getting the hell out of town. And I hope you're not suggesting we let Dems rule and finish the wreakage.
