“Mass panic”?
It was a stampede.

Germans doing something in a disorderly fashion? My, how Deutschland has changed.
Probably most of them higher than a kite.
Lemmings never ask where and why ... they just march on towards destruction.
Can we debase the culture any more than we already have?
I am shocked to learn to learn that the “Love Parade” is not about love but sex and depravity.

Hallo, Deutchland! Wo ist die Liebe?
That is a real riot!
If you have ever been in a ski lift line with the Germans, you will know that this is typical behavior. Very orderly and calm, until a crowd forms.
My wife, young son, and I were almost crushed by a crowd going into an event venue when the entrance suddenly funneled sharply. Very bad experience.
Once, attending a formal dress ball, we witnessed what happens when they bring out the food table (very formal hors d’overves brought out late in the evening). Everyone promenades around the table and admires the food art. Then, the head table is escorted to the table and fills their plates. Then, its like the California gold rush: pushing, shoving, elbows. Even the French were amazed.
I cannot understand the mentality.
Whenever I find myself in a crowd situation, I always seek the outer edge and have escape roots planned.
Do you have your tickets to leave the USA yet?
Still working on that part of my bug-out plan.
