Charles Rangel at Fridays news conference.
In his first news conference since learning his fellow lawmakers would put up him on trial for ethics violations, Representative Charles B. Rangel urged his constituents and the press to be patient, saying he would not address the specifics of the charges against him until the proceedings begin next week.

Rangel is a thug, thief and bum. Forty years of stealing taxpayer dollars and destroying the US is PLENTY of time, Charlie.
He's had a 40 year pass. Justice demands he spend a few years in prison. Either that or we empty all the prisons of tax cheats and con men.
There are a lot of vets who have not been given a 40 year pass on corruption. Charlie deserves no better.
Time?? He’s had years now already!
Agreed...good example.
MORE time??? This investigation has been going on for 2 YEARS!!
I wanted to ask Charlie what it looks like under the bus.
One time Dubya was making his annual SOTU speach and the camera showed Rangle in all his cockiness pretending to be sleeping. Because of his rudeness, I have always hated the man.
MORE time??? Charlie, time is not on your side! Born June 11, 1930(age 80). Do you want to die in office? Then lie in state under the Capitol Rotunda like sheets?
