Bell city manager gets $600,000 per year to retire?
Talk about adding insult to injury...
Robert Rizzo the city manager of the small
city of Bell is getting paid almost $800,000-a-year.
(He's the 'Chief Administrative Officer' in Bell.)
But wait.. there's more.
collecting over half a million a year..
Back in the old days, a rope and a tree would have been “retirement”.....
Look like they have a revenue problem. They'd better raise taxes as soon as possible.
When the California collapse occurs, as it inevitably must, not one nickel of federal money should go to fund any pension amount in excess of $50,000. What has been going on in California on the part of public employees and managers is nothing less than LOOTING. Many California retirees should be in JAIL, instead of prowling America’s highways in $500,000 diesel pusher RV’s on the California taxpayers dime. That includes all the 1000s of chiefs retiring with “Chief’s Disease” disability pensions, mostly shielded from state and local taxes.
So in 30 years
he will take in
$18,000,000 cash

But hey the same people that voted for the city councilors who wrote this contract voted for Obama. Gore. Kerry. Mandatory seat belt laws.
We get the government the people that live here want. Look at public buildings: Biggest nicest buildings in town. It's that way everywhere you go. I have a 2 million dollar a year business and work out metal barn with a job shed as my office.
He should get 600,000 days in prison, before parole review!

You should see the 100k dollar dog walk that the idiots in my town approved a bond issue for. Nobody uses it. A little chain link fence. Some crusher fines. Some artificial turf. 100k. Whatever.

That should be a picture of citizens dancing into a huge new marble encrusted municipal building cheering while carrying the city councilman who rammed through the boondoggle on their shoulders, and into the new building. Except the peasants aren't actually allowed inside the building. They have to stop at the steps.
