Joe the Plumber endorses Mike Bouchard for Governor
Oakland County Mike Bouchard, Republican candidate for governor, today gained the endorsement of Samuel Joe the Plumber Wurzelbacher. On the heels of internal polling numbers showing him tied for first place, Bouchard has gained national attention calling for Right to Work in Michigan, a labor stronghold.
I am pleased to have Joe the Plumbers endorsement in my race for governor, said Bouchard. He was not afraid to ask President Obama the tough questions and he didnt hold back when asking what my plans are for Michigan. I explained to him that under a Bouchard administration modeled after my Blueprint for Prosperity, Michigan will once again be prosperous.
Joe the Plumber gained national attention in 2008 when he asked then Senator Obama if his small business tax plan would hurt the American Dream. After Joe asked the question heard around the world, the term Joe the Plumber became a household name. Joe the Plumber became the icon of the average middle class American who John McCain and Sarah Palin referred to on their quest for the presidency in 2008.
After weighing the options in Michigans gubernatorial race, the only clear answer to getting Michigan back to work is Mike Bouchard, said Samuel Joe the Plumber Wurzelbacher. Mike Bouchard has a clear and decisive plan for rebuilding Michigans economy. He is a man of his word and a brave to fight for Right to Work in Michigan. Mike knows what is right and will champion issues which may be unpopular, but necessary to ensure Michigans hard working people can find a good paying job.

I’m voting for Bouchard in the primary. One of the reasons I’m convinced DeVos lost against Granholm is his refusal to endorse the ballot issue that stopped racial preferences in state hiring. I’m glad Bouchard came out for RTW; it’s long past time unions stopped sucking the life out of our economy.
I’m holding out to see what Larry the Electrician says. Not really, Bouchard is my candidate.
Pardon me for being the turd in the punch bowl. I do not want any of the above, no incumbents, I want to see the "Nerd" Synder win even if he has RINO tendencies (yes I know real conservatives running @ the state level and that is their assessment), but will settle for Hokestra.
Forget Snyder, his endorsement by RINO (more like closet liberal democrat) Bill Millekin, former Michigan governor, says all we need to know about Snyder. Hoekstra is ok but is not pursuing the bold constitutionalist agenda that Bouchard is. And we all know Cox is a snake-in-the grass not to be trusted.
Snyder is also endorsed by uber RINO poisonous Joe Schawarz who wants democrats to get out and vote for a “republican a democrat can support”
Thanks Michigan Constitutionalist — and of course, Joe the Plumber. :’)

Vote for me, I’ll set you free........
I heard on Rush today that one candidate supports ‘Right to Work’ in Michigan and other candidates attacked him for this. That may determine, who I’ll vote for. The trick in advancing such an idea is to put it in correct context. Will Bouchard be able to do that?
Thanks for the ping. Interesting.
I like Cox the best, with Bouchard and Hoekstra (in that order at this point) as just fine with me if they beat him out.
May the best candidate beat the crap out of whoever the dems put up to replace Little Lord Granholm. She's blown us away.
Ping for your comments.
My preference would be Cox, Bouchard, Hoekstra. If Facebook is an indication, I believe that Pete is the only one who is a 'fan' of Sarah's (he also likes Romney's page). Mike is a fan of Newt, Pence and Cantor.
In all honesty, Cox and Bouchard are more in line with Sarah's conservatism. And from personal interactions with Pete, I don't think he takes Sarah seriously.
Bouchard to my knowledge is the only candidate that has said he would support right to work legislation and would do everything he could to make it happen. I ran in to Brooks Patterson - Oakland County Executive - a few months ago and he’s endorsing Bouchard, and most likely working actively to get him elected.
Who is Joe the Plumber?
Why is Joe the plumber (whoever he is) speaking negative ‘bout non-joe-plumber candidates.
Just who is Joe Plumbr?
Not sure if you’re serious—google his name.
Why would I or anyone else take to heart anyone that Joe would endorse? Other than the one question he has no track record to hang a hat on. If we need Joe the Plumber to endorse our candidates we are in trouble.
