You'd have to read the post I was referencing to understand. It didn't refer to redemption of farms but rather Ms. Sherrod's story of a personal struggle against prejudice against whites (I believe he said her father had actually been lynched by whites). So she was confronting her own prejudices vs. "doing the right thing" and is still dealing with it.
Anyway, that's all out the window now (with her current crusade).
