The NAA(L)CP audience saw that speech as a this-is-how-I-stuck-it-to-Whitey speech, they cheered it as a this-is-how-I-stuck-it-to-Whitey speech, and she never once reprimanded them for seeing it as a this-is-how-I-stuck-it-to-Whitey speech.
