I have always loved Newt. I thought he should have been president a long time ago. The only people who detest Newt are liberals and those who can't think for themselves; who let media hit pieces do their thinking for them.
That being said, I think Newt has missed his time. His recent statement that Tea Partiers should try to resolve their differences with the black panthers shows that he is no longer ready for prime time.
But when I become president, he's definitely going to be part of my administration.

Is that kind of allegation out of Alinsky or the Clinton politics of personal destruction?

If he had said anything LIKE that, I’d be upset too.
What he said was that LOCAL Tea Parties, should meet with LOCAL NAACP groups, to determine whether they had common concerns with State and Federal Gov’t, and how best to address them.

And, when he sat on the couch with Speaker Pelosi and blathered about Global Warming, he lost me - a double dinger - Nancy AND global warming.
