LIBRARIAN FORCED OUT OVER “ANTI-GAY” BOOK?

A federal judge has tossed out a lawsuit filed by a former Ohio State University librarian who said he was forced out of his job because of his conservative Christian beliefs.

U.S. District Court Judge William Bertelsman ruled that the university’s Mansfield campus did not violate Scott Savage’s civil rights by being hostile to his beliefs.

In 2006, Savage was asked to serve on a committee to develop a required reading list for incoming freshmen. He noticed that every book was either liberal or promoted what he called a gay agenda.

So Savage recommended four conservative books – and that’s where his troubles began.

Many Librarians are very far Left. They love to create displays of “banned books” such as “To Kill a Mockingbird”. Of course, here we have a Librarian attempting to promote a Conservative book. The Librarians quashed that. I wonder if they will now include this conservative book in their next display of “banned books”?

Ohio State University..... The conservative librarian was driven from his job in a taxpayer supported state university. I’ll bet some liberal gay has his job now.

I wonder if the same trolls that supported that lesbian that was told she couldn’t bring another girl to the prom as her date will support this man’s civil rights with equal enthusiasm?Somehow,I doubt it!

“Queers will burn in a literal Hell if they don’t repent.”

####

Probably.

But we still need to deal with the here and the now; their very large role in the ongoing destruction of our society here on Earth.

Oh no! We can’t tolerate so much as ONE BOOK that presents The Other Side, let alone four books. There is no Other Side. Ignorance is knowledge. Weakness is strength. Up is down.

He wasn't forced out over an anti-gay book. He was forced out for recommending this book, which attempts to balance their narrow one-world view just a little.

I suspect the subtitle of the book was what really got under their skin:

How Radicals, Elitists, and Pseudo-Experts Sell Us Corruption Disguised As Freedom

In the case of the Mississippi prom, the district violated the lesbian student's rights under the 14th.

In the OSU case, the conservative had the right to recommend such books however, OSU had no responsibility to add those books to the reading list.

Did you read the article? From the article.....

.........."According to the court ruling, one of the books, The Marketing of Evil, contained a chapter discussing homosexuality as “aberrant human behavior.”

Several professors on the committee immediately took offense, accusing Savage of recommending a “homophobic book.”

Two professors were so upset over the book that they filed a sexual-discrimination complaint against Savage. But the attack against Savage didn’t stop there.

According to the Columbus Dispatch, English professor JF Buckley wrote an e-mail that was sent to the entire faculty. Buckley wrote: “You have made me fearful and uneasy being a gay man on this campus. …I no longer feel safe doing my job. I am being harassed.”

World Net Daily reported Savage received other correspondence that was laced with curse words and vicious personal attacks. The Christian librarian was later publicly condemned by a faculty vote.".....................

Filing sexual discrimination complaints because of a "recommendation"????? then publicly condeming him in a faculty vote????? I'd say the guy had a point about being forced out.

Thanks for the synopsis, which allows us to get at the roots of the success of the perverts in deploying their queer fascism:

Where are the heterosexuals on campus?

None of them would stand with this man?

They are too afraid of the left's intolerance. This sounds like a great book. Amazon's editorial review sums it up with this: "In the end, The Marketing of Evil is an up-close, modern-day look at what is traditionally known as "tempation"—the art and science of making evil look good. "

Readers' reviews are very interesting. From one review:

..........."The author discusses ten issues, one per chapter, and I expect any one of them dropped among a random group of people could start a heated argument in about 15 seconds.".........."It seems the book's first chapter, gay rights, gets most of the attention from detractors. None of the other chapters are any less weighty or volatile. It's not a book about the evil of gay rights, it's a book about successful marketing. "............
