EXCERPT
"I think they should but they won't. They intended exactly what they did. "They were looking for the result they got yesterday," she said of Fox. "I am just a pawn. I was just here. They are after a bigger thing, they would love to take us back to where we were many years ago. Back to where black people were looking down, not looking white folks in the face, not being able to compete for a job out there and not be a whole person."

LOL!
Glenn Beck defended Sherrod on his Fox News show yesterday. Guess she missed that.
I watched Fox reporting on this. They were the first to defend her. It seems to me that Fox was the one “snookered” and not the NAACP ( who had the full video all the time )
I don’t normally watch ABC but this morning I was watching my local weather and when the ad came on for Good morning America they told about this bloated little racist being on to explain her side of the story..Well I was not disappointed because she said that what happened was a Right wing blogger took the tape of her and made her sound racist by editing the tape..I knew she was a filthy liar..She should never get another job with anything to do with the American people she is a RACIST like her president and his crew.. My message to her is you got caught you filthy racist..Don’t blame FOX or a blogger for what you said..
So does this mean we now have it on record from an Dem-authorized real black person that all that stuff is in the past??? Woo hoo!
Oh and how quickly some at FR chimed in to defend this woman!
As a blanket statement I reject that entirely. It may have been true then, and it might be true now, but for the UP to collectively punish an entire counntry for a disease that only the victims can cure themselves, is a bit much.
At least in California, I remember no such things in the 50s. or the 60s; or now.
So did Krauthammer.

Hmmm, isn't that sort of the same as making a reference to " you people". I seem to recall the NAACP had a reaction to that phrase.
The best news in all of this is that the “racist” epithet is becoming meaningless...
I was thinking yesterday she got a raw deal, but now that she’s had a chance to amplify upon her remarks, eff her. She hasn’t been punished enough. I’m surprised she didn’t blame Bush.
As the Won says, when you're in a hole, keep digging. Americans know how to dig their way out of holes.
1) How many other white farmers did she discriminate against before she saw that light?
2) Was this the only one or simply the least damaging racist confession?
I hate to have to add a "however" here, but however:
The Obama White House doesn't move that fast on anything unless someone's butt is badly exposed. My advice is follow the money.
Sherrod's family reportedly got $13 million of the $1.15 billion distributed to date under the Pigford civil rights class action suit against the USDA for allegedly refusing to help black farmers. Sherrod was hired by the Obama administration for her USDA post very soon after her family "settled" for a fortune in taxpayer money.
Sherrod's husband had a Student Nonviolence Coordinating Committee SNCC) background (ermember them?). Her own background suggests she knows more about growing and packaging profitable grievances than about growing crops.
What makes this really interesting is that in 2008 Congress extended the time for people to file claims in the Pigford class action thing dispite evidence that many such claims are bogus. We are talking several times more claims than the number of black-owned farms.
Epithet inflation. Works for me.
Beck was defending her, or not so much defending her as pointing out the fact that the White House threw her under the bus without even letting her tell her side, and without hearing the whole tape.
They didn’t even give her a chance, according to her, to get to the office to quit; they made her quit from her car on the road.
So it seems her problem is the White House, and not Fox. The White House dumped her and Fox, through Beck, defended her. So her anger and loyalties are misplaced. As often happens.
It wasn't about YOU, you stupid twit!
It was about the applauding, winking and nudging your racist speech received from NAACH [National Association of Colored Hypocrites]
“They would love to take us back to where we were many years ago.”
November 1984 would be far enough
