How about re-naming him "Captain UN" or maybe "President Obama'?

Joe Johnston should have stuck to production art. His movies are all horrible and this will be be terrible also.

We're re-interpretating, sort of Ah yes... this is what secular progressives do so well. If they can reinterpret the sacrosanct document known as the Constitution of the United States, why not the character of Captain America. They are charlatans and frauds who counterfeit anything and all that is true.

I doubt he's going to be a closet homo. I'm sure he will be a quite proud gay avenger and rather than having his superhero costume sporting the red, white and blue he will be wearing the multi-colored rainbow.
Ahh, kids are so lucky today to be able to look up to these enlightened super heros rather than the white, racists, homophobic, xenophobic types that we were forced to follow in our youth.

Well, he did take a big interest in the “intern” Jimmy Olson, didn’t he? And what was all that taking off his clothes in public phone booths stuff all about?

He's a guy that wants to serve his country but he's not a flag-waver.
Being a patriotic American is sooooo embarrassing.

"He wants to serve his country, but he's not this sort of jingoistic American flag-waver,"I'm fine with that. That's how I am, I dont wave flags, I dont wear RW&B, I dont shout how great a country is from the skies above.
But cross me or my country, and you going DOWN!.
This probably makes for a better movie anyway. I'll wait out to see how this is played, and make my judgements then.

You know why the Superman re-make sucked big time? The director Bryan Singer came out as a fag. He tried to act straight and unintentionallly turned Superman into a metrosexual. Then he hires the other closet-homo Kevin Spacey as Luthor..so basically it’s one gay film.
To: GOPsterinMA
...so a hero whose costume is based around the Americal flag doesn't want to be portrayed as a 'flag waver'..?
ROTFLMAO!!!

Keep in mind that the same movie you reference is the one that changed "truth, justice, and the American way" to "truth, justice, and all that other stuff..."
That went over like a lead balloon...

He never sleeps with Lois Lane. He wears TIGHTS and a CAPE. I don’t know how much more out of the closet he could get without wearing pink and driving a ford PROBE.

I was going to add that as well. That’s also another reason why they had to re-make X-Men..to wash out the gayness.
Ian McKellen who played Magneto is also a proud homo. What is it with this dude?
To: GOPsterinMA
And let me add this
Tony Stark: “They say the best weapon is one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only need to fire once. That’s how dad did it, that’s how America does it, and it’s worked out pretty well so far.”
This is what made Iron Man a success.

He's a guy that wants to serve his country but he's not a flag-waver. We're re-interpretating, sort of, what the comic book version of Steve Rogers was."Then I'll be crossing this one off my list of movies to see.
Hollyweird keeps making crap and my list keeps getting shorter. No wonder movie theatres have been struggling.
