Nathan Lane was an emcee, and his risque routine included this observation: Some men may avoid Broadway musicals, worried "your Y-chromosome is going to fall off. But not our president. He ain't afraid of those stinkin' showtunes. He enjoys them. . . . As one of the most articulate and stirring speakers ever to grace the White House, he understands the power of a well-turned phrase. . . . He even enjoys going to the theater. Now, after Lincoln, presidents haven't exactly raced to the theater. Although rumor has it Herbert Hoover was a bit of a show queen . . . spending many an afternoon in the Oval Office lip-syncing to Ethel Merman records."
"Musicals have also been at the forefront of our social consciousness, challenging stereotypes, shaping our opinions about race and religion, death and disease, power and politics."
Hey, when is BO going to start calling the "White House" the "Black House"?
Does he do anything but party?
Theme song for the Obama White House:

Oops sorry. Didn’t realize there is a touch of profanity in the song.
Who cussed/cusses the most: Richard Nixon, Barack Obama, or Joe Biden?
The White Hut oozes with vularity because Obama is the vulgar, profane community squatter. He refuses to distinguish between the holy and the profane, the clean and the unclean.
vulgar
late 14c., “common, ordinary,” from L. vulgaris “of or pertaining to the common people, common, vulgar,” from vulgus “the common people, multitude, crowd, throng,” from PIE base *wel- “to crowd, throng” (cf. Skt. vargah “division, group,” Gk. eilein “to press, throng,” M.Bret. gwal’ch “abundance,” Welsh gwala “sufficiency, enough”). Meaning “coarse, low, ill-bred” is first recorded 1640s, probably from earlier use (with reference to people) with meaning “belonging to the ordinary class” (1530). Vulgarian “rich person of vulgar manners” is recorded from 1804.
community
late 14c., from O.Fr. comunité “community, commonness, everybody” (Mod.Fr. communauté), from L. communitatem (nom. communitas) “community, fellowship,” from communis “common, public, general, shared by all or many,” (see common). Latin communitatem “was merely a noun of quality ... meaning ‘fellowship, community of relations or feelings,’ but in med.L. it was, like universitas, used concretely in the sense of ‘a body of fellows or fellow-townsmen’ “ [OED]. An O.E. word for “community” was gemænscipe “community, fellowship, union, common ownership,” probably composed from the same PIE roots as communis. Community service as a criminal sentence is recorded from 1972, Amer.Eng. Community college is recorded from 1959.
profane (v.)
late 14c., from L. profanare “to desecrate,” from profanus “unholy, not consecrated,” from pro fano “not admitted into the temple (with the initiates),” lit. “out in front of the temple,” from pro- “before” (see pro-) + fano, ablative of fanum “temple.” The adj. is attested from late 15c.; originally “un-ecclesiastical, secular;” sense of “unholy, polluted” is recorded from c.1500.

White House: a distinguished residence for great leaders and as such is consecrated for special use.
Obama does not belong.
Politics Daily is not on my reading list.
Personally I am looking forward to the nationwide WRAP party when Obama vacates the White House.
If I was the next President, I would refuse to move in until it had been totally fumigated and exorcised.
Even then, I would replace every mattress and bring in new silverware and dishes.
I’d be more concerned with replacing his every appointment.
Of those three it’s got to be Zero......he plays golf.
"Over the years, musicals have also been at the forefront of our social consciousness, challenging stereotypes, shaping our opinions about race and religion, death and disease, power and politics...."
Right on Barry.
Who can ever forget those fabulous MGM Musicals of the 1930's on Religious Bigotry. Those dance sequences alone with 100 Nuns and Monks Tap Dancing down those never ending moving stairs are something I know I'll never forget.
Or those Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy Musicals with them in Black-Face singing the Camptown Races. They sure did a lot to help race relations. I think they even had a real Negro in one of the scenes.
Okay this is it. Forget his 'BC', I demand to see Obama's IQ test.
The guy is as dumb as a stick!
“But not our president. He ain’t afraid of those stinkin’ showtunes. He enjoys them. . . . As one of the most articulate and stirring speakers ever to grace the White House, he understands the power of a well-turned phrase. . . .”

(In before the Blazing Saddles Jokes)
I can't wait to hear Barry belt out "Old Man River".
That and canceling every one of his Executive Orders.
I am STILL angry with GWB because he did NOT use a strong broom and sweep out every one of those political appointees AND left all Clinton’s EOs in place.
He tried to “make nice” to the Dems when one of Clinton’s FIRST ACTS was to fire EVERY SINGLE US ATTORNEY...
Years later we were hearing bitches because GWB fired what? Six or seven? They wanted to hold hearings?
Get Sarah in there! If there is ever a woman who knows how to use a broom — on backsides if necessary — it’s her!
Todd... never let that woman go!
Thanks.
President vuvuzela’s a fag.
More evidence.
