Same here - I am aware that perfect is the enemy of the good. So I’ll vote for whoever wins, against Barnes.
It still bothers me, though. We shouldn’t even be here talking about this today. There’s no excuse for this. Not here. Not in this political climate. NONE
I hope other conservative states are paying attention to what just happeend in GA - if blue states are going to elect RINOs we sure do the red states to elect conservatives, or we are in really big trouble come November.
Pan - I wonder too if Handel will even debate Barnes since she was afraid to share a stage with McBerry. Hubby says if she had a foot to stand on, she could have mopped the floor with McBerry.
Is this kind of “leadership” she will provide against Obama? Will she go toe to toe with him? We need our governor, more than every, ready to stand up against tyranny. They need to be ready for law suits, all the way to war. Based on this campaign she sure doesn’t appear to me to be much of a fighter - she surfed in on endorsements.
Then you have Deal, who is a good man and good conservative but I fear Barnes’ crew will tie him to Bush and the economy. Either way it worries me. Johnson and/or Chapman were clear and free of the baggage, experienced, ready to fight, equipped with solid plans. Johnson has the best illegal immigration plan of anyone anywhere since GA has more illegals than even AZ. I really believe we needed that more than ever.
I will have to let this go and focus on November. I pray we do better next time.
I need to do some more research on Handel and the voting rights issues. It looks like she caved to the DOJ about not clearing the voter rolls, but I need to make sure I have the facts straight.
