Today Sarah Palin endorsed former AG Kelly Ayottes senate bid, setting off an earthquake that shook the political landscape in New Hampshire. Within minutes of the endorsement, headlines started screaming on blogs and newsites on the state and national scene. Ayottes Democratic opponent Paul Hodes and liberal blog Blue Hampshire started hyperventilating almost immediately, while Ayottes GOP opponents had conniptions of their own. Ovide Lamontagne denounced the endorsement in a long, rambling statement, while a Bender spokesman tried to downplay it by saying that they may have seen something about it but deleted the email.
Regardless of your opinion on Palin, her ability to shake the political scene and suck up all of the oxygen is beyond doubt. This most certainly is a boost to Ayottes campaign and a blow to her GOP opponents. Lamontage has been trying to get traction as the real conservative in the race, but the twin blows of Palins endorsement of Ayotte and Lamontagnes recent fundraising release of barely $100,000 for the quarter spell the end of his campaign. And with Palins support Ayottes conservative credentials are solidified, setting up a primary showdown with her liberal primary opponent, country club owner Bill Binnie. Binnie is pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, pro-amnesty for illegal immigrants, against the AZ immigration law, pro-TARRP bailout, pro-VAT tax and has a history of campaign contributions to Democrats. With Lamontagne and other candidates unable to get traction, the GOP senate nomination is shaping up to be a two person race between conservative Kelly Ayotte and liberal Bill Binnie.
Governor Palin is a conservative icon who has brought enormous energy to our Party. As governor, she took on the entrenched special interests to deliver results. Governor Palin is a reformer in every sense of the word, and she has always stood firm for the conservative principles of low taxes, less spending and personal responsibility. Im running for Senate to put our fiscal house in order and to get our country moving in the right direction again, and Im honored to have her support.
Got to choose winners....
Sarah is.
I say this turns out well.
Folks are wanting to avoid a lib.
There also other reason why she did this as well ....hmm! LOL!
*wink* *wink*
LOL “Within minutes of the endorsement, headlines started screaming on blogs and newsites on the state and national scene.” .... the power of Palin. Amazing.
(((((((((Palin Ping))))))
Hurricane Sarah Hits NH!!!!!!!!!!!
Binnie has been constantly on the airwaves. It’s annoying at this point. Lamontagne is probably not a strong candidate. He lost the race for governor by a wide margin in 1996 and has been out of public view since then.
Ayotte prosecuted the case that gave NH it’s sole death row inmate. Not to jinx it, but Ayotte was supposed to be leading potential dem challengers by a wide margins.

This why Sarah is so good...she is not the ruling class...They all need to go..
Rush was hot today, did a great overview of the
article that you linked. Read article tomorrow,
must go to be now.
Hurricane Sarah :) God Bless Her
AMEN. How do we get her endorsement?
Ayotte is the real deal. She’s going to need funds to fight liberal millionaire Bill Binnie though, everyone needs to kick in to get this done

The corrupt NH media was all over Sarah’s Kodiak Island ‘blunder’...THAT was the ‘big issue’; not the endorsement.
The state still hasn't disposed of this cop-killer...
