I’d go for a more cinematic ending.
In my scenario she’s like General Radek, the bad guy’s boss in “AirForce One” - she’ll be put in prison and her minions will kidnap the President’s family and demand her release and Glenn Close will say “nuh-uh we won’t let her go” but then Gary Oldman will shoot some hostages and Glenn Close will say “ok then we’ll let Lynne Stewart go” and Lynne Stewart will put on her uniform and walk out of the prison to the cheers of the other prisoners and the sound of her national anthem but then at the last moment the President rescues all the hostages and Lynne Stewart will be gunned down in the prison courtyard, her hand still grasping futilely at the doors of the helicopter that would have taken her to freedom.
Which would be a far better ending than she deserves. So yeah, maybe the scaffolding thing.
Che Guevara in a dress. The biggest disappointment is that she didn’t come to the same end.
