President Obama has been convinced to spend $400 million a year on "healthy foods" in low-income neighborhoods as well as revise – at a cost of $10 billion – a federal plan to provide food to poor children in school.

“the White House has named the Obamas’ personal Chicago cook as ‘Senior Policy Adviser for Healthy Food Initiatives,’”

Sounds very Third World.

"as well as revise – at a cost of $10 billion – a federal plan to provide food to poor children in school."

There must be a whole lot of graft and payoffs going on for it to cost even a fraction of that. This goes way beyond pork.

So before the Bambi family became our spoiled, indulgent First Family, Moosechelle had the “audacity” (ironic) to complain about student loans for their affirmative action Ivy education, the cost of music lessons and other luxuries for her offspring, etc. And they lived in a mansion that they should not have been able to afford at the time, and now we hear they had a personal chef. Some animals ARE more equal than others.

How equally ironic that Moosechelle’s big cause is childhood obesity, yet she apparently doesn’t even cook. That’s for the hired hands.

at a cost of $10 billion

Apparently in addition to not passing a budget, the House has delegated their responsibility for appropriating money to the Executive Branch as well.

How long before Obama starts playing to the PETA crowd by forcing us to limit our meat intake and mandating the amount of vegtables we eat each meal. It’s coming rest assured.

So Obama has created yet another official government position for someone to tell the little people how to live their lives. I really think it's time to stop calling them czars and start calling them nazis. This one can be the official Soup Nazi. NO JUNK FOOD FOR YOU!

Exactly what the Emperor of Rome did when things were going bad for him. He gave the people of Rome bread to keep them happy. Rome still fell, not because of food but because of a lack of leadership. Seems like we never learn from history.

Melody Barnes, Director of the President’s Domestic Policy Council.
MS. BARNES: — “wonderful, healthy foods, but there are food deserts in rural areas, as well. What we want to do, and what the President included in his budget is an initiative to lev—use public funds to leverage even larger private dollars to put the grocery stores in communities where they don’t exist and also some really creative and innovative ways—for example, “MOBILE GROCERY STORES” - where you’re moving those into communities where there’s not a lot of population density — but you want to make sure that people have access to those fresh fruits and vegetables.”

If they want people to eat more healthy foods, they could start by ending junk food bought using food stamps & welfare benefits. The good news is that, under Obama, America seems headed for a resurgence of the old “health food standby,” cigarettes and donuts.

According to an earlier CNSNews.com report, Michelle Obama confirmed – in talking about her White House campaign against obesity – that the condition "impacts national security" because it is a "disqualifier for military service."

Really? Which one? The U.S. Military or the Øbammy civilian force?
