WASHINGTON Democratic Senate nominee Alvin Greene still hasn't raised much money in his bid to unseat Republican Sen. Jim DeMint of South Carolina.
Five weeks after stunning the party with his primary win, the unemployed veteran and political novice said he has raised about $1,000. DeMint, the incumbent, had more than $3.5 million on hand after his last filing.

I’m sure his fundraising machine consists of one of those “give a penny/take a penny” dishes alongside a convenience store cash register?
Bomma can drop him a cash bomb. 20 million would be in line with what he’s spent on every other stimulus job.
I am considering sending Alvin Greene a donation just so the results of anyone websearching my name will have it hit on opensecrets.org under donations to Alvin Greene for Congress 2010.
Comedy Gold.
I'd almost be willing to send him $20 just to stay in the race if for no other reason than a black guy, a veteran to boot, has enough chutzpa to get out there and get on the ballot in the first place.
I love the fact that more ethnicities are getting out there and, rather than just taking what the parties have to offer them, are getting involved.
The Deluded Press is laying the ground work to blame Alvin’s loss on lack of money. Alvin should ask DumBO to campaign for him. He did promise Pelagosi that he would campaign for Bolshecrats.
He has nothng to worry about.
Surely the South Carolina Democratic Party will fund him all the cash he needs, right?
...insert sarcastic laugh here...
There is something so deliciously American about Alvin Greene - I just wish he was ours.
The head of the SC Dem Party said she wouldn’t help him or even vote for him!
Apparently you haven’t been following this very closely.
The guy is a gobber!
No, you don’t. Watch Greene in an interview and you’ll see that he’s nothing but an Obama drone. He can’t do anything but recite Democratic talking points, and doesn’t do a very good job at that. Meanwhile, there are lingering questions about why he was kicked out of the Army, and that pending felony charge in Columbia.
If you’re looking for inspiration, there are plenty of candidates who emerged from the Tea Party ranks and are not only battling the Democrats, they’re taking on the RINO establishment as well.
I speak Southern - goober?
He routed Rawl in the Dem primary - which, I am sure, you applauded.
His filing fee was suspect - turns out he paid it from his own military savings.
In spite of troubles - his is a life worth examining in the poetry of Harper Lee.
Examine away! You’ll see what I mean.
Go to WBT.com, the Keith Larson site and
listen to all of his interviews with him.
Chill out!!!
He ain’t OURS - case closed.

Guess you missed the part about Greene dressing up as a repairman so he could gain access to a restricted college dormitory and expose 17 year old girls to hardcore pornography.
Not even to mention previous stalking incidences, where he inexplicably wan’t charged by the inept, pc campus police.
Don’t kid yourselves, all you fawning gushers.
If the charges hold up in court, Greene is a scumball stalker and a pervert.

and a Democrat!
