Confronting the Jew-Hatred at Daily Kos: An Introduction

Daily Kos is among the largest political blogs in the world. It has well over 200,000 registered users and, whether anyone likes it or not, has some influence within American politics. In the 2006 midterm, for example, they raised money for 17 netroots candidates, winning eight races: Jim Webb (VA-Sen), Jon Tester (MT-Sen), Tim Walz (MN-01), Joe Sestak (PA-07), Ciro Rodriguez (TX-23), Patrick Murphy (PA-08), Jerry McNerney (CA-11), and Paul Hodes (NH-02). Daily Kos helped drive Joe Lieberman from the Democratic party and the mainstream media promotes Daily Kos through Keith Olbermann. It also, of course, helped give Barack Obama the Presidency – an effort that I helped in, myself.

As I mentioned in my introductory post here at NRB, I come out of the progressive movement and am, on the issues, a liberal. But I have huge problems with liberalism or “progressivism” or Leftism, or whatever label we care to use, because those people seem ready to throw my people (the Jewish people) under the bus entirely. Despite however many friends I have within the Left – and I think that there still may be one or two – it simply must be acknowledged that the Left, as a whole, is no friend to either the Jewish state, nor the Jewish people.

The obvious must be acknowledged.

One way of looking at this is via Daily Kos. Daily Kos represents the liberal-left base of the Democratic party. It represents the “progressive” grassroots / netroots of that party. And the simple truth of the matter is that Daily Kos is entirely hostile to the Jewish state. The great majority who write on I-P over there despise Israel.

A little late to the party aren't we, Mr. Lumish? The Left has hated Israel for a few decades now without American Jews seeming to notice. Its also interesting to note that the Jews who have emerged into the light have done so only because of the Left's militant hatred and active hostility toward Israel and not for its general threat to the entire freedom of man.

Give Mr. Lumish some credit: he finally noticed that the Left hates Israel. That's a start. Perhaps he'll soon figure out that the Left hates a few other things as well: such as freedom, morality and human beings.

This guy needs to buy a clue. Their are no liberals remaining in the Democrat party power structure. The liberals were purged years ago. The Democrat party, and their enablers in both the old and new media, are hard core leftists. They despise liberals.

Phil Donahue believes people should learn about Fox News’s Glenn Beck by watching a video that was posted at the perilously liberal website Daily Kos.

In a preview of an interview to be aired on the “Joy Behar Show” Friday, the host asked her guest, “What do you think of this upsurge of the Becks and the Limbaughs and Fox News?”

Donahue curiously responded, “You know this kid Daily Kos?...He’s got a thing called ‘Full Mental Beck.’ And it’s, it’s like seven minutes of, a montage of Beck”

He amazingly continued, “So, if you’ve just read about Glenn Beck, and you don’t want to watch Glenn Beck, check Daily Kos and watch it, because you better know what’s going on here or you’re going to be culturally illiterate”

Daily Kos is a hub in the war to delegitimize Israel and essentially has a stealth alliance with Radical Islam.

To be expected. Radical Islam these days has more than enough money to buy the Left's support, and what they want in exchange is for the Left to throw the Jews under the bus.
