A Warner Robins man caught on a video surveillance tape without any pants on while rummaging through a carport has been charged in connection with a 2008 armed robbery and aggravated assault, police said.

Kenneth James Jackson, 43, was being held Tuesday at the Houston County jail on charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault in a Nov. 27, 2008, incident at a Winship Drive home in which a resident was robbed and assaulted, said Houston County sheriff’s Capt. Robert Clark.

Jackson was also being held on charges of indecent exposure, criminal trespass and theft by taking for two unrelated incidents in June.

In one of those incidents, Jackson was caught on a home surveillance video without any pants on and wearing only a shirt and tennis shoes, said Houston County Sheriff’s Sgt. Joe Middlebrooks. In the other incident, Jackson is captured on a home surveillance video with his boxer shorts pulled down, Middlebrooks said.

Authorities suspected Jackson was the man captured on the surveillance videos and set up a surveillance of their own in which Jackson was identified when he was seen walking down a street wearing only his boxer shorts and tennis shoes, Middlebrooks said.

A photographic lineup that included Jackson was shown to the victim of the 2008 incident and the victim identified Jackson, Middlebrooks said.

Jackson is also a person of interest in other crimes...

TIP: If you want to get away with a crime, DON’T dress in a manner that makes you stand out.

Dumbarse.

Dang! You find the strangest and funniest subjects to post on...:)

A pant-less bandit...makes getting away a bit more difficult, I would think.

There are a lot of strange stories from Warner Robins in the last year or so... Some clowns for mayor and city council (current and former).

The previous mayor offed himself, for instance. The current mayor is an empty suit.

A city councilman has been arrested for assault, false statements and a number of other issues and is accused by a constituent of stalking.

The City Clerk was arrested for allegedly trying to break in to the dead mayor's office (through the ceiling tiles).

The city attorney admittedly shredded files of compromising information on local public officials that the previous mayor was keeping in his desk. The county District Attorney, said the city attorney did the right thing, while admitting that there was a file on him. The DA has since gone on to private practice.
