Robert was first reported missing from the couple's Bench-area apartment July 24.
The report sparked a weeklong community search that drew more than 2,300 volunteers, the FBI and national attention - as well as daily press conferences by the Boise police, many of which were attended by Ehrlick and Jenkins alongside other family members.
The search ended in sorrow when Robert's body was found in the New York Canal between Boise and Kuna on Aug. 3.
An Ada County grand jury indicted and charged Jenkins and Ehrlick with first-degree murder about two weeks later.

It's been a year since Robert's body was discovered and charges were brought against his mother and mother's boyfriend.
Above is an excerpt from the middle of the article just for background refresher for people that have forgotten or didn't know about this young boy's murder and following community search for him when the community thought he was just "missing".
These two subhumans should have already been strung up on the nearest tree in my opinion.

Melissa Jenkins didn't directly murder Robert Manwill, but she sure knew what was going on, and very likely knew about his death and didn't report it.
Non graphic, my own paraphrasing version for people that don't click.
Robert's mother Melissa Jenkins had unsupervised visitation rights to her son due to Jenkins past history. Robert's father had custodial rights.
Robert was staying with Jenkins and Daniel Ehrlick (Jenkins' boyfriend) for the summer.
Daniel was very brutally physically abusing Robert. Melissa knew it was going on but did very little to stop it.
She even LIED to Health and Welfare about bruises and how Robert received various injuries. She'd even Robert him in the closet and say he was at his Dad's when the Health and Welfare agents would check up on the family.
On the day of his disappearance Robert was complaining about not feeling well and showed signs of his body reaching the end of it's functioning.
Instead of seeking medical help, Jenkins went to work, leaving Robert at home.
Later that day Robert "disappeared". Whether he died from injuries or was finally killed by Ehrlick that day hasn't been said.
Doesn't matter much because instead what happened is his death was covered up by Jenkins and Ehrlick by dumping Robert's body into the local main irrigation canal.
Jenkins reported Robert missing and strung the entire community, State, and even nation (made it to Nancy Grace) in a week long search for Robert till his body was found.

I would post my usual litany of what should be done to these two, but it's not going to happen and I'm just too disgusted to type that much.
It's a year later, and justice, such as it eventually will be, has not even begun to be done. No trial only the 'motions dance', no appeals, and certainly no punishment.
What the hell is the matter with us?
