Don’t tell me there aren’t jobs Americans won’t do.

In California, I go to a car wash and gas station and its completely foreign labor, mostly illegal. Meanwhile, American youth unemployment is 50%, “college prep” kids sit home, and these kids are expected to simply borrow hundreds of thousands of dollars to fund their education.

Here in my small-town in PA, the car wash and landscaping businesses are staffed by college and high school students on break. No illegals needed or seen.

I have a white collar job with a major foturne 500 company. When I tell my peers stories of working in shipping/logistics in college doing product inventory control, loading/unloading tractor trailers for product distribution, and driving a propane forklift in a warehouse they look at me like I have two heads. They just can’t picture me or themselves doing physical labor. (I’ll be 30 in August.)

Yup. I was talking to a Lib (who is gainfully employed) the other day who felt justified in speaking on behalf of all of the millions of unemployed Americans and just made the flat-out statement that this country needs illegal immigrants because there are so many millions of jobs which American simply will not do.

I told him that wasn't so and that Americans were desperate for jobs but just couldn't get hired -- often, because illegals were there working cheaper, without benefits. The Lib just laughed in a condescending way and said "Nope. They won't do those jobs."

Sheesh.

back in the 70’s, I mowed lawns, babysat, cleaned homes and worked in the office on campus to pay my way through school. ALL these jobs except office staff at the school are taken by illegal aliens and recent immigrants.

One thing you need to know is that once illegals are brought into the workplace they force out citizen workers. Illegals will take over a workplace by making it impossible for citizens to work there and promote every opening to an illegal friend or relative. Employers that choose to hire illegals usually go to a nearly all illegal work force as much as possible for economic reasons but also because it makes it less likely they will be reported for working illegals.

There is also the illegal created work environment that most don’t want to talk about becuase it will get you called racist. Most illegal workers are adults working in jobs that were formerly teen or young adult jobs in this country. Many have drinking and drug abuse issues as well as different views of relationships. To put it bluntly many are the dregs of Mexico’s society. Citizen adults find it impossible to work with them and most parents that are aware of the situation with many illegals would really NOT want their teens to work with them. I know many parents that will not let thier children even apply for work at places that hire illegals- with good reason.

Now we do indeed have young adults that are dependent on their parents or social services when they should be self supporting. It is a by-product of allowing illegal workers. We need to deport all illegals and open up those jobs. Get our young people back into the work force and make them self reliant again.
