Kent Wells, a senior vice president in the company, said at a Wednesday evening news briefing that the valve on the top portion of the cap was shut, meaning the oil had stopped pouring out from there. It was working to shut off the other two valves to completley close the oil in. Wells says the process will take hours.

Judging by the way the Choke was leaking and how they have attached a cable to the choke and how they operated the disconnect switch on the choke, looks like they are going to take the entire assembly topside. Hopefully they have a replacement. If not, they will have to repair it topside and then bring it back down.
They actually are trying to operate the unlatch mechanism on the choke. Not the disconnect. My bad.
Entire Choke assembly was just unlatched. Going topside.
Been off chasing other stuff...time to look at hte ROV’s
That video of the choke leaking I linked above was removed by the user. But it was an epic fail. That bottom canister was leaking in 3 perhaps 4 places.
Guess I waited too long.
OK...Any of the ROV ‘s showing anything about it?
