Progress: Schools Teaching Your 10-Year-Old Child About Anal Sex
David Horowitz's NewsReal Blog ^ | July 14, 2010 | Lori Ziganto

Funny, but I always thought that schools should focus on teaching our children subjects like reading, writing and math. Not so, evidently! That’s for fuddy-duddy, old school philistines. Nowadays, with those things called Progress and hopeandchange ™, our children are being taught about oral and anal sex and “fisting.” Often under the guise of abstinence programs and without the consent, or even the knowledge of, their parents.

Montana is just the latest example of where this dangerous sexploitation of your children is occurring. Included in their new proposed “health” curriculum:

By fifth grade, they are taught there are several types of intercourse, and by the sixth grade, the draft document states that students should, “Understand that sexual intercourse includes but is not limited to vaginal, oral, or anal penetration; using the penis, fingers, tongue or objects.”

Fifth grade. That is 10- and 11-year-olds. Sixth grade, 11- and 12-year-olds. I’m far from a prude, but I don’t care to discuss anal penetration with objects and, in fact, run screeching from my computer screen when sent to Urban Dictionary and coming across such a topic. Yet, our 10-year-old children are supposed to be able to handle such discussions? Worse, people think that they should have such discussions?

In kindergarten, the new curriculum proposes that those five- and six-year-olds know the proper terminology for body parts, such as penis, scrotum and testicles. You see, it’s far more important that they don’t use the word “pee-pee” and that they are sexually knowledgeable and empowered, at age five, than that they know how to spell their own names and count to 20.

I can guarantee there are ways in which every day your children in public school are being conditioned to think of the government as their co-parent. This will build and build upon itself over time.

We presently are not allowed to talk to the insurance company about our 16-year-old’s medical bills charged to OUR policy. Since he is 16, under federal law, he has a right to privacy from his parents in this case. So when they call to ask questions about what appointments have been set, they do not allow us to answer those questions. They insist on talking to him.

The schools bring kids up to instinctively feel that there are many situations where they do not have to and should not seek the advice or counsel of their parents, or even inform them of various things. It is very subtle.

And, yes, it can be countered somewhat by how parents teach their children at home. But honestly if the school teaches kids from an early age that it’s best to talk to the school nurse about x, and they needn’t bother with telling mom or dad about it, it just doesn’t occur to them that there’s something wrong with that picture.

Can you do FR readers a favor, and just post the articles without excerpting? Horowitz is a good guy but the blog is unreadable, and FR’s clean, crisp environment is perfect for reading and discussing. No excerpting is necessary for blogs. Thanks!

That doesn’t mean we have to put up with it in Montana. Sorry for your experience, but the parents in Helena aren’t going to quit working against this curriculum just because the school board in your former community pushed their agenda through.

My California grandkids have been homeschooled all their lives. My Helena grandkids will be moving to a private school this fall.

But that still leaves a lot of little kids in the hands of the public school system. Should we just not give a hoot about them? Sorry, but that isn’t a solution.

I appear to have ticked you off on a couple of threads. Wanna truce?

"Yes, you will continue to pay property taxes. But a dramatic decrease in enrollment leads to a dramatic decrease in the federal funding stream, such as Average Daily Maintenance based on headcounts and so on."

What do you think Obama wants all of those illegals over here for? You didn't think he just wanted them for the elections, did you? Headcount and a warm body filling a seat. That's just part of his immigration reform/amnesty agenda. And of course, those nice docile (afraid) hispanics will never balk or rebel against anything taught their children. They can't afford to speak out. And they are used to keeping silent out of necessity.

The breed and caliber of youth that the Obama cabal will produce will be horrific for the future of this country. Exactly the outcome and result that Obama is seeking.

We ought to have a poll on FR, asking how many of us put our children in public school.

You are so right, and you are right that I hadn’t even thought of that! I forgot how much illegals prop up headcounts in some districts.

And, yes, I also look around and shudder when I think, man, one day these yahoos will be in charge.

Is God going to bless this? Do people see no connection between the character of a people and Divine beneficence as manifested in our economic well-being and happiness? Have we learned nothing studying Old Testament history and prophecy?
