Sharing a couple of interesting e-mails from my mailbag over the past week
From reader D
Hello Michelle- I am a federal employee with the US Geological Survey who often does field work near the border. Last week we were told to not travel to field sites within 5 mi of the border between Buenos Aires Nat Wildlife Refuge and Douglas, i.e basically all of the SE Arizona border. This decision was apparently based on communications with the Border Patrol and is supposed to be a temporary situation. I have no other information and dont know if any other agencies are issuing similar warnings. But, this leads me to believe that some US operation is planned or the Border Patrol is anticipating something from across the border. I thought this odd enough to forward it because you may receive related info and so that you be tuned into news from the area.
And from an AZ insider
There is a huge gearing-up of ICE/BP regarding what may be a major drug enforcement Ops in southern AZ. Agents brought in from all over the US for a 2-3 month TDY. Unusual that all directives are coming from Napolitanos D.C. henchmen. With Napolitanos long history of adoration towards Mexican government officials, there is concern that this could lead to some type of giant ambush caused by our very own double agent (the Director of Homeland Insecurity). Something very peculiar is happening and I am concerned that AZ is going to be punished in a big way
some of the more seasoned agents are concerned about this Washington-driven investigation
Some think that this is going to be for show. Others are really concerned for their own health and safety.
Probably offering escorts for the cartel and they don’t want anyone to see it.
Yeah, even the Mexicans can’t believe how ignorant we are. Don’t ask me why, but I’m sure they’re about to find out.
And yes, it will catch the citizens of both nations by surprise.
They were apparently all driven to the area in two Boarder Patrol vehicles.
Nice to know Obama's keeping 'em busy!
From Sacramento to Raleigh North Carolina our cities are crawling with tens of millions of illegal aliens, and the government is going to beef up border security? Put on a show?
Even those drooling in cups don't buy this sh*t.
Answer: Procedures designed to prevent Americans from stopping the influx of Mexicans.
Next time take a camera and take photos. Post em and embarrass Janet N.
Some kind of pre-election theater performance, I would guess.
The drug cartel is probably blackmailing obama (birth info?) and he is letting them bring in half of Mexico just before he announces amnesty by presidential decree.
open borders ping
Sorpresa de octubre?
To give you an idea of how dangerous the Arizona border is, a few weeks ago an investigator with the Arizona DPS told me about having to be helicoptered in, via Blackhawk, to a murder site in southern Arizona. Before the investigative team could begin their work, the entire area had to be secured by officers who were on watch the entire time. Not 150 yards from the murder location was a sniper’s roost, complete with binoculars, a campstove, and other gear. This was in ARIZONA.
Claro que si.
No longer US territory. Disgraceful. I used to jokingly say we need to land mine the border. I’m not joking any more.
I believe Bambi and co. are going to appease La Raza and create a “Gaza” like territory using AZ and NM as part of the payback.
Is this the October Surprise ... the Dems last-ditch effort to save themselves from the Gales of November?
In any event, don’t expect to see any coverage of whatever takes place in the Southwest. If they can slap $40,000 fines on reporters trying to visit the Gulf oil spill, they can sure as hell do the same thing in Arizona. “But he was trespassing on National Park property, your honor!”
