I believe it'll be a series of terror attacks that happen to "slip through," sometime around 25 October. What better way for 0bama to achieve two objectives: 1. Get his poll numbers to skyrocket (as the nation reflexively rallies around its president in a time of grave crisis); 2. Declare a form of martial law that will indefinitely postpone the elections on 2 November that will not be lifted "until DHS certifies the level of safety necessary to give the all-clear." The nature of the terror attacks will be deemed too severe a threat to the well-being of large numbers of people gathered in one place, i.e., voting polls nationwide.
How about a terrorist attack on election day, in a large city, with a wmd, with many thousands of deaths. In this way, the regime may “not be able to certify the results”, as entire districts’ votes could not be counted. Then “postpone” new elections until such time as voting can be made “safe”.
Then you have time to blame Tea Partiers for it, and he’s off to the races with even more power.
