The freedom to become productive, and enjoy the rewards in this country is what should be praised, not some kind of right to take the rewards away from the productive. Biblically, it is the resposibility and choice of the producer to contribute to any such cause as he sees fit, not to have his money taken and put where someone else’s mouth is. Even the Lord wants a cheerful giver, not a compelled giver.
If you want to rebuke a liberal who claims to be Christian,
ask them how much advocating theft instead of personal charity contributes to their salvation or their rewards in heaven.
