Perhaps, you should read a bit more carefully, before calling others “stupid”. Look back over the posts.

We were discussing whether, or not, an effective CEO spends all day at the office. I opined that a CEO needs to get away from the office. My point was simply that the number of hours spent *in the office* is not a useful metric, regarding the effectiveness of a CEO.

You claimed to know CEOs who spend all day behind the desk — 24/7. I then asked you to explain corporate jets. I know the economic rationale for corporate jets — that wasn't the point.

You've conceded that CEO’s need to travel — therefore, you must also concede that they don't spend 24/7 behind the desk.

Perhaps you were using “behind the desk” and “at the office” metaphorically — to mean “working”. I was using the terms literally. A CEO doesn't have to be behind a desk to be “working”. (Conversely, a CEO spending all his time behind a desk, isn't working effectively.

Is that so hard?
