"If I recall correctly from the Founder’s Friday show about George Whitfield, Whitfield was a strong proponent of individual salvation as a means of achieving collective salvation."

Whitefield was a staunch Calvinist so such a view would be expected to be the foundation of his views on salvation. Athough, this is a "basic Christianity" issue and Christiandom has been uniform in this belief for 2000 years for the most part.

My simple explanation is that Christianity is all about the free will to trust in God but its also about the free will to suffer the consequences of turning away from God.

Free will does not survive collectivism.

Beck said you must accept Jesus as a personal Savior.
That would mean they are Born Again.
Is that Mormon doctrine? I don’t think it is.

No collectivist system (ie. government) whether democratic or socialist can ever be righteous if peopled by sinful, prideful man. Change must come a soul at a time because only when you change individual hearts can justice occur. Never once did Christ suggest a colletive atonement for individual sin. You cannot outsourch your moral obligations to the government.

Honestly I think the fact that he’s actually reaching the minds of some blacks has terrified the left.

A few weeks back I caught some faint praise of Beck on BET. They were happy that he was teaching history of blacks beyond the victimhood of slavery.

Yeah I just put it up today at the site, but if you don’t mind don’t post it on top of the thread every day I don’t want word to get out or they may shut it down again. Thx : )

On his radio show today Beck described the death threats and how he had to wear a bullet proof vest and use a security detail.

The story of Lot is an interesting lesson about individual salvation and collective destruction.

If I were Glenn I would be terrified about taking the stage on the 28th but I’m guessing I would still do it.

In Obama’s eyes, collective salvation cannot be achieved through reparations. Collective salvation can only be achieved through punishment of the perceived oppressors. (Capitalists, whites, conservatives etc)

I’d say that’s exactly the case. They’re really angry about the 8/28 rally on the anniversary of King’s Dream speech. Now that King’s Dream has been realized and the black man is actually being judged on the content of his character, they (the liberals) know that their complete and total power over the black man is in jeopardy. They need a race war.

Beck was good at exposing the hideous implications of black liberation theology.

Obama under Rev. Wright is one who believe in collective salvation.

It is not Christian. It is Marxist.

After today’s show, there is no doubt about his courage. (And no doubt that he will need bodyguards.)

But what a great show!
