Here are two big questions hovering over this year's congressional elections: How radical is the mood out there, and do Republicans have a real chance of taking back control of the U.S. Senate?

And here's a simple way to track the answer to both: Simply keep an eye on four tea-party amigos chasing Senate seats in the key states of Nevada, Kentucky, Florida and Colorado.

Only if the GOP promotes CONSERVATIVES and NOT RINOs!

“Senator Buck” sounds interesting. I’d like to know what it is about Norton’s track record that makes her vulnerable.

I give it between 50 to 60% that the Dims lose the Senate, and about 70% chance the Dims lose 8 seats.

Marco Rubio was against the AZ law. Is the Tea Party for amnesty? Not that I aware of. He could have won it in a walk until he came out against AZ. I support Jan Brewer myself.

Change that amigo to LA Raza supporter.

We’ve got to pickup CA, WI, OH, PA, NV, FL, MO plus all the states already forcast for GOP pickups. Anyone who thinks these states will be easy wins is wrong.

Polling shows as of right now its unlikely we can win the Senate. Not impossible, just unlikely.

I don’t think we are going to win Illinois which is no big loss but I think we have a chance in CA if Fiorina doesn’t shoot herself in the foot. I also think there is a big opportunity in WV now that there is going to be a special election. Personally I don’t think the GOP should cede any Senate seat without a fight. When you see incumbents like Feingold and Murray Venerable it means that a lot of other races are probably more winnable than polling would suggest plus name rec plays a big role which is why money is so important.

First the GOP is going to have to show the Tea Party that they are committed to an agenda of rolling back all of this cr@p. We don’t have a helluva lot of confidence in that right now.

If the Republicans clearly spell out a “contract” that includes: 1. Repealing Obamacare
2. Cutting taxes and spending
3. Sealing the border
4. Emergency on-shore drilling and shale
exploration coupled with new refineries
5. Abolish IRS and income tax and replace with a
national sales tax
then they will easily retake the House and Senate.

I thought Rubio clarified his stand on AZ’s law. Who are we to support if not Marco???

He was against the AZ law before he was for it.

He is the only choice but he “ain’t” a Tea Party candidate. He is Mel Martinez Lite and a Jeb-Bot.

Martinez Lite, I agree. Jeb Bot, that may be ok. Jeb was a great governor.

Yeah under Jeb and Crist - illegals multipled exponentially and Florida is broke. Great Job. Rubio will liekly carry on the pro-La Raza tradition.

Sadly FL does not get politicians like Jan Brewer.
