Amen. The worst thing about bad cops is that a bad cop has exponentially bad consequences -- i.e., a bad cop on a power trip makes criminals out of regular folks and fear, anger, and cynicism in the pubic against ALL cops.

It's not really about bad cops. We as a society have demanded an empowered, powerful, aggressive police force. The good news is we got what we asked for. The bad news, is, we have an empowered, powerful aggressive police force.

This is the same country that passed prohibition.
This is the same country that has made a mockery of the 2nd amendment.
This is the same country that treats probable cause like a joke.

Liberty has not been seen in this country for a very very long time. Hell, people don't even invite her to dinner anymore.
