Could the Costco Leftist or even the police officers who murdered him go to jail? How about lawsuits? Who should be sued and for how much?

The Costco Leftist should be (1) fired immediately without any severance, (2) criminally indicted for falsely inciting a panic or something along those lines, and (3) sued in court for his portion of the civil liability in this guy's death.

Costco itself should voluntarily take the first step and offer a settlement to the guy's family, or face a similar lawsuit.

And all three cops should be booked on 2nd degree murder, with the penalties automatically elevated to 1st for the use of a firearm in commission of the crime.

No doubt COSTCO will probably go out of business over this one. I certainly no longer trust them to behave themselves.

I could be walking around in there and an employee calls the cops and they shoot me on his sayso?! Naw, can't take that chance.
