ANAHEIM A group opposed to Arizona's recent anti-illegal immigration law on Monday demanded that they be able to personally deliver more than 100,000 petitions to Major League Baseball Commissionerer Bud Selig that ask him to move next year's All-Star game out of the "Grand Canyon State."

how many want it to stay???
Let me guess: probably about 14 of these are actually baseball fans.
2 million votes on MSNBC’s poll back Arizona’s stance, yet 100,000 petitions want the All Star Game out of AZ. Sounds like the activists have the majority on this one. /s
I have an idea. Let’s have balloting at MLB games on this. Every ticket at the gate gets a ballot.
100,000/300,000,000 = 0.000333
Or, +/- .033 % of the U.S. population.
If they get their way, then it will TRULY be an example of a tryranny of the (extreme) minority.
That’s a great idea.
Where do these putzes recommend moving the game? Juarez?
Lets get the names on the petitions and run thm through E-verify. then arrest the illegals:-)
Just think of the economic stimulus bonanza if the Anti’s have voted to move the Grand Canyon out of Arizona instead. Trillions would be spend on a massive endeavor that would last a lifetime.
By the time next year’s all-star game happens half the states will have passed similar laws.
Tell them you have to check the signatures to make sure they are American citizens. I think that would take the number of petitions down to about 3.

Look at what the gay rights has done with small numbers! Something is very wrong.
My question exactly. In a country of 300 million+, 100,000 doesn't even register. You can find that many people who still believe that the earth is flat without breaking a sweat!
I say ignore them.
Oh I can only imagine the number of jobs created for this one...
Why not free admissions, parking, and concessions to all illegals at games, Bud?
Oh yeah, and souvenirs too.
There are college football stadiums where 100,000 people would be a disappointment.
