Good.

I hope states also begin to enforce the law that requires dead and ineligible voter names to be purged from the rolls... that’s another one that’s not being done or enforced.

“BOS vote to repeal SB1070”

The Board of Supervisors in California cannot overturn a law in another state.

Looks to me like all Monterrey wants to do is send a strongly worded letter. Big whup! They can crow all they want to. Gov. Brewer — stand firm!

Jack, your bankrupt state is about to suspend unemployment payments, even to people just losing their jobs.

The best approach is to point out to Californicators that illegals cost them their unemployment.

Silly progressives. In their minds, if Obama can tell the world what to do, I guess California can tell Arizona what to do.

The BOS of Monterey County is full of BS. A drive south down Salinas Valley leaves one with the impression they have crossed the border into Mexico. The legacy of the mexican invasion is that Monterey County has the highest murder rate in CA. One would think the board would be more concerned with this than what goes on in AZ. Additionally, it is next to impossible to get a CCW permit in the county so one can legally protect themselves from the Mexican gang thugs that run rampant in Salinas. The mayor, chief of police and sheriff are all gun grabbers although all the gang bangers are well armed.

Is the county or city?

If it is the county then my trip to the restaraunt “Portabello” this weekend will be cancelled as will my drive to 17 mile and unfortunately my snack at the Giant Artichoke.

Ping me if you get more info. This is stupid and I am willing to forgo visiting anywhere that supports this baloney.

I notice they are not boycotting the state of California or Rhode Island

If you do follow through, be sure to write their Chamber of Commerce and tell them why.

Not my best letter but I ain’t joking either:

To Whom it May Concern:(though it probably doesn’t matter)

I have visited the Monterey area my entire life and I am appalled at the idiocy of your county supervisors.

They really have nothing better to do?

They really don’t have more important agenda items?

Are they aware that the Great State of California has a similar law, on their books?

Will they vote to seccede from California or at least be morally and intellectually honest enough to boycott their own state?

Will they also boycott the state of Rhode Island, who similarly has the same law, which is enforced?

Will the county admit they are Americans first and our sovereignty is just as sacrosanct as any other nation?

Are they even aware that being an alien in this country or any other on earth, one is required to by law to carry and present identification upon demand?

I doubt seriously they have read the law and are more concerned with ceding the Great State of Arizona back to Mexico but, as an American that is unacceptable.

I am offended that the County of Monterey will consider condemning Arizona and boycott them.

You and the people of Monterey need to understand very clearly, the boycott works both ways.

I had planned on having dinner this weekend at Portabello but will forgo my visit to Monterey this weekend.

I will also skip my snack at the Giant Artichoke as well.

As I will not be bringing my family to Monterey until this ridiculous and uninformed attitude is brought to a halt, you can well expect that my visits to the Great County of Monterey are ceasing immediately!

That includes beginning my hikes, at the Pinnacles, from the East side, as it would necessitate my driving through your county.

I will not take the chance that I might stop at any of the wineries, for gas or even a soda.

I take no pleasure in this decision and I am sure my family will be disappointed as well. However, at issue is the sovereignty of my country and the fair and the just enforcement of our laws.

I am very saddened that your supervisors feel compelled to take this action but, trust me, you will feel the other side of the boycott.

Sincerely and sadly,

Dammit. And we just spent a couple thousand dollars in the Monterey area a few weeks ago.

I wonder if they would "repeal" the money I spent there back to me.

Hey, Monterey POS! Why don't you clean up that hideous beach adjacent to Cannery Row?

Nothing but a bunch of broken up old concrete and rusty old water towers.

Get some illegals to clean that crap up why don't you before you go getting all up in Arizona's bidness.

Que Paso F&&K????

I had called the Board of supervisors and they confirmed they had adopted this resolution.

I canceled my planned trip right after I hung up the phone.

Too bad. I have always enjoyed going to the Monterrey Peninsula. From the Giant Artichoke to the woods and beach at Los Lobos, 17 mile drive and the Eastern Entrance to the Pinnacles.

I had planned on a day hike to the Pinnacles next week and stopping at a few wineries. That will never happen again until they formally turn over their current decision.

Weird thing is I had written the Chamber of Commerce and never heard a word from them.

They call this a racist law all the while egotistically proclaiming “Viva La Raza! Para La Raza Nada!”.

Who is the F-ing racist? We have no exclusions regarding ones race and it’s not even and issue.

Couldn’t care less.

Besides all those sissies that got up and spoke probably eat at McDonalds exclusively.

They may be more American than I am.

I eat anything you would find served south of the border from Menudo to Sangre’ and Chicharinas to patitas de puerco. Hell, I’ve even eaten little bugs that are typical fare in Oaxaca, like little bugs and grasshoppers in lemon or chocolate.

I even had half an eye of a goat when I was kid and would eaten the rest but was told it was bad manner not pass it around.

Stupid losers. They are making the issue race and are telling us they more Eagle and Snake, of the Mexican Flag. All the while saying they are as American as Apple Pie.

Really? Pick a side! You are either an American or a Mexican. You can’t be both.

There is no issue with the nature of compassion of those who come to our country seeking a better way of life for them and their loved ones.

There is no more noble a person than the person who crosses our border and leaves their families, friends, neighborhoods and country behind, for the pittance they earn, so they can send a scrap of a dollar back to their families.

It is as hard on them, as it is their families.

But, an American who commits the many crimes they commit by being here would either be hung from a petard or jailed for so many, they would forget who they once were.

Identity theft? There are real people who are forced to pay for that crime. They lose time and money in an attempt to get their good name back and regain control over their lives.

They rarely sleep a good night knowing that someone is out there impersonating them, by way of a number. Their Social Security number.

How is it a foreign national can purchase cars and homes with fake I.D.?

An American would themselves in the uncomfortable position of submitting the sexual overtures of a hostile nimate, at the jail in which they reside and yet the foreign national is “just a human being”?

Seriously? It’s not as if we don’t have compassion for them. We do.

However, the version of Americanism we are being told to embrace and humanism we told should be our standard, negates the rights of all others, makes us servant or employees of an illegal class and cheapens, NO, makes a mockery of American Citizenship and borders on making it worthless.

If you believe in open borders, you can’t possibly be considered an American, Anymore. You care not for your fellow citizens but have a stronger empathy for an invading horde.

If you think it racist to ask to a foreign national their I.D., their reason for being in this country and how long they overstayed their visa, you are not, an American.

You cannot be taken seriously as an adult much less the more prestigious value of being an American when you think it is okay for another human to rob another of their rights, of their dignity and of their pride.

In short, you’re ability to communicate and your value system is from the days of communication when syllabic cuneiform was the standard and never encompassed the rang of feelings one might have, as that form closer to the communication of a simian than that of a fully evolve human.

To those of you who understood the first half of my writing and know me, it will take a dictionary, an encyclopedia and a really, really, smart human for you to understand the last half.

Then again you are mexican and I am an American.
