Democrats in Arizona are coming out vociferously against the Obama administrations lawsuit challenging Arizonas new immigration law, but Republican Governor Jan Brewer is not buying it. Arizona Democrat Representatives Gabrielle Giffords, Ann Kirkpatrick, and Harry Mitchell have criticized the action of the Department of Justice.
Governor Brewer is not impressed. At the National Governors Association conference in Boston on Saturday, I asked the Arizona Republican, included as a defendant herself in the federal lawsuit against her state, if she thought these Democrats were playing politics and trying to appease voters in their districts.

Of course--absolutely. I think that they were not supportive of Senate Bill 1070 when it was enacted, and [they] kind of laid in the shadows, she said. And now of course its become a political issue and, overwhelmingly, the people of Arizona support Senate Bill 1070. That affects their elections. They are responding to their constituency.
Sure they are.
Democrats and RINOs will say whatever it takes to retain power. They don’t care how divisive or expensive anything is, just as long as they get enough votes to satisfy their massive elitist power-driven egos.
...if anyone should know, she would
Got a question.... does this mean that arizona would have discovery rights in this trial? Isn’t one of the reasons to dismiss a case is when a plantiff does not have legal standing to bring a case forward? Technically if Obama can not prove he is legally president through discovery,( producing a valid BC) would the case be thrown out and him with it?
I can’t wait for the Federal Court to sanction Obama and Holder under Rule of Civil Procedure 11 for bringing a frivolous case! /sarcasm
Go Quo Warranto - Gov Brewer.
I’m so proud of Gov. Brewer. These dems are just pandering to the masses.

Brewer is surrounded by the adversary and has no intention of surrendering.
Gotta love that woman, put her right up there with Bachman and Palin.
Well they will “learn” come November 2nd.
“Democrats and RINOs will say whatever it takes to retain power. “
Very true. In fact, if McCain wins reelection to his Senate seat I have no doubt he’ll do a 180 from his current tough line on immigration and be teaming with Lindsay Graham to support an amnesty bill.
Democrat pandering again ... they see how the people of the state feel and they go “yup, us too” when they fought the bill all along ....
Dems deem distress?
SHE IS GREAT!!!!
Of course the local Dems are paying lip-service - they don’t want to be stuck with the remaining 30% of the state (much of whom don’t vote). But it is VERY RARE to have a Republican call them on it. This is OUTSTANDING. Let’s hope other Republicans can get 1% of her COURAGE.
