So the 5.4% unemployment during President Bush’ term was a figment of our imagination.
The millions of people out of work now were always out of work, they just didn’t know it?

"For the better part of 10 years, folks faced stagnant incomes, skyrocketing health care costs and tuition bills, and declining economic security," Mr. Obama said in a speech at a Kansas City, Mo., electric vehicle plant. "It was in the middle of this crisis that my administration walked through the door." So, we're halfway though this troubled time? Ten more years of despair? Is that the plan??

I did fine for the last 10 years.
Now I may lose everything and experience what my Mom and Dad did during the Great Depression.
But I am a lot older now than they were then, so it will probably be harder for me.
Pretty Scary days ahead for all.

Um, Barry, Bush was in office for 8 years, not 10, so it looks like he inherited a bad economy from the first black President, Billy Jeff.

Obama is lying through his teeth and hoping that most Americans have short memories. Unemployment was around 5% during most of the Bush administration and our national debt was far smaller than it is now. There was no recession until very late in the Bush presidency.
Obama's insane fiscal policies have exacerbated whatever financial problems existed when he assumed the office he campaigned for. For Obama to pretend that 'the last ten years' (encompassing the Bush presidency) were financially troubled and that a faltering economy was somehow thrust upon him is absurd and an insult to our intelligence.
"Blaming Bush' has gotten old and stale...a punchline for Obama jokes. Barack, man up - you're responsible. You can't vote 'present' anymore.
To: Qbert
yeah, methinks that Hussein’s days of being able to blame Bush for Hussein’s failures are over.
The moron in the Oval Office and his bosses Emmanuel, Plouffe and Axeldork seem to think this tired old meme is going to work forever. They’re wrong.

"It was in the middle of this crisis that my administration walked through the door." Then how'd you manage to make it worse? Nurses who started their 2 year degree programs in '08, amidst a nursing shortage of such dimensions, they were assured they'd "never have to look for a job, the jobs will look for you," are now graduated with absolutely no prospects. Now where did those jobs go? At least around here, there have been no hospital downsizings, etc. Obviously, everybody in healthcare is planning for a long depression.

Gee I didnt know health care and tuition had gone down.’’He didnt mention at what schools did he? How about those health care bills that are going to get out of this world under his new bill, with more taxes to boot.
Anyone who would listen to this fool and believe him is a retard. I know we dont like to use that word any more but it perfectly describes anyone who listens to this fool and believes him.

That is such a total lie. I don’t think most people will fall for it. They know there was lots of work, especially here in FL, five years ago.
Real Obamabots will believe it, but nothing will separate them from the messiah anyway, so they are lost causes.
