Straight 100s is a 4.0.
Nothing more, nothing less. I got that one semester.
4.09 is hype.

You get 11 points instead of 10 for A’s in (AP) Advanced Placement courses. At least we did in the early 1970’s, when I was in those courses.
Oh? Depends on the school system then. I got all As one semester and an A+ in speed reading. My GPA was over 4.0.
School I went to gave a sliding bonus scale for AP classes A’s and B’s were +1 (5 and 4), C’s and D’s +.5 (2.5 and 1.5), F’s were 0 no matter what.
I think is how it worked out. I know that A’s were 5 instead of 4 for my High School AP math classes (which I’ve long since forgotten most of it anyways)
