Amnesty Will Cost U.S. Taxpayers at Least $2.6 Trillion [Flashback to '07]
Heritage Foundation ^ | June, 2007 | Robert Rector

Posted on 07/10/2010 3:42:26 AM PDT by T.L.Sink

[Flashback] Robert Rector of Heritage discussed the most comprehensive, detailed and objective study of the illegal alien crisis ever done. His conclusion was that the social, economic and political consequences of the massive illegal invasion, if not curtailed, will result in the collapse of the whole American cultural infrastructure in about 20 years. His research caused a sensation. He appeared on C-Span, numerous media outlets, and talk radio shows. His study was quoted in the Senate when the issue of comprehensive immigration (a/k/a amnesty) was being debated. Most notewothy is the fact that NONE of the open-borders advocates nor the proponents of amnesty could factuallly repudiate his data. All the facts that he compiled to make his extrapolations are right now on-target and coming to fruition.

A couple of days ago some Russian spies and their children born here were deported back to Russian. If those children were considered American citizens ,how was it possible that they were deported without a federal immigration hearing on their behalf. Perhaps our laws are only enforced against Europeans, not Mexicans.

Excellent point - where was the bleeding heart old dying lying lame stream media. Shouldn't there have been a sob story or two or three about the potential of having to "break up these poor families"?

There will be a Civil War if Obama pushes amnesty. If Obama gives amnesty to 30 million illegals, then 50 million relatives will soon follow and then it's all over for our Sacred 5000 Year Miracle called the United States!

The Chinese don’t really want our “money.” They want the collateral. Our land and our resources...which abu bama is only too happy to oblige.

Either way, the logistics aren’t that insurmountable. Cut off the employment by stiff penalties for employers. Eliminate wire transfer of US currency to Mexico and elsewhere via banks that currently provide this service for illegals.

Self-deportation should be encouraged.

Prison buses usually hold 44 passengers. 300,000 bus trips could just do the trick.

Think of all the work that would provide for unemployed clerks, investigators, operatives and teamsters.

I’d vote for that stimulus bill.

Large areas of Houston look more like Mexico than America.

Mexican thugs operate at night, controlling turf, tagging everything in sight, thumping innocent people, shooting up rival gangs, dealing drugs and advancing narco-terror/human trafficking.

What a sad testament to liberal progressive policy over the years.

Republicans as well as democrats are responsible for this madness and degradation of our society, particularly the urban inner cities of America.

We need to deport or imprison ALL illegal aliens, including their anchor babies, seal/secure the border and SHOOT anyone who tries to re-enter illegally. We put a man on the moon; we can do this.

Here, here is one result from a quick google for defenses of Buchanan and his view of US interests vis-a-vis Israel. If it makes you feel better I didn’t read this one either. You will waste all your time if you let unfair attacks on someone by the left send you to researching every piece of crap that is flung at them. I’ve already wasted 5 minutes of a busy day on this nonsense.

I have caught H from a few snots on FR because I now reside outside of the USA.
_______________
We are planning on moving to our vacation home outside the US, the first of the year. Death care was the deal breaker with us. I know what you mean by catching hell from some snots on here. So have I. I think they are just either jealous because they can’t leave or won’t leave. I’m not spending the rest of my life with some Marxist Kenyan’s jackboot on my throat and I’m not contributing to or dealing with what will now be sh*tty death care.
Plus I can live down there on half of what I can live here.

It strikes me that to retain political power they’ll do just what they’re doing - ruin our country!

Amen! And it’s an added insult to us to think we’re too stupid to see what’s so obvious.

Good point. Too many Americans are comforted with the old illusion that “it can’t happen here.” As the Hispanics have replaced the blacks as our lagest minority, look for increasing tension between them for the plums of minority hand-outs and affirmative action. The Asians and whites will feel increasingly discriminated against and excluded from the American ideal of a fair and level playing field. The word “balkanized” has become a common word in our language and that’s because of a very real historical phenomenon: Look at the Balkan states and you see a nation of hostile ethnic and religious groups whose differences often resulted in violence - and even had a part in causing the First World War. The illegal Hispanic invasion is also giving us a huge population of largely uneducated and low-skilled people who usually speak little or no English and who inevitably become part of our overburdened social-welare system. They’re bankrupting public school districts, causing hospitals to go into insolvency, and the ravages of the drug cartel are destroying our communities. Numerous studies have shown that they cost far more to our nation than they contribute.

I feel exactly the same way. I hope every American realizes the consequences of potential amnesty. The democrats just see it as a vote getting machine. Real Americans see it as the end of our Sacred Republic. We have to take a stand with Amnesty. . .

Amnesty Will Cost U.S. Taxpayers at Least $2.6 Trillion

>WRONG!

>It will cost our Chinese overlords $2.6 trillion dollars. There's no way we can actually pay them back.

>What might they have to say about this I wonder?

Well, having Chinese overlords might not be so bad...
