Reid silence deafening

WASHINGTON -- When it comes to the most basic function of the federal government -- guarding our borders -- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has only one priority: his own re-election.

Democrats and Republicans alike agree that the Obama administration's astonishing lawsuit aimed at blocking Arizona from enforcing the immigration laws that the federal government refuses to enforce will hurt the vast majority of Democrats in the November elections.

Reid, on the other hand, may just be the one and only Democrat in the entire country who is actually helped by Obama's Orwellian border bailout.

Nationally, 60 percent of Americans -- and nearly three-quarters of the decisive independent voters -- favor the Arizona law and the attempts to bring sanity to the Southwest border, according to the latest polling out yesterday.

The Arizona law does bring order and sanity to our borders. The law is the logical first step in dealing with the problems of illegal immigration - rape, murder, loss of job opportunities, increased costs of incarceration of criminals who are illegal immigrants, drug related crimes.

But enforcing current federal immigration laws is contrary to the desires of the Obama Administration for One-World government and open borders, international economic entanglements, and no wars, just criminal actions.

Nevada is the state that killed Hillarys chances and gave the nomination to zero. SEIU is strong in that state through the casinos. He will be a tough beat unless people get out and vote because the other side surely will.

I saw, in the comments, what would make a good bumper sticker.

It reads: "Buck Ofama".

I watched a downloaded movie SIN NOMBRE last night from Netflix.

Everyone should rent SIN NOMBRE to see graphically how we are being invaded by illegal aliens and in particular MS 13 gangs.

Bill Clinton would have been as bad as Obama had not Newt Gingrich and the Republicans stopped him. His administration was not enforcing the gun laws in order to increase crime and create a demand for stronger gun laws, basically disarming the populace. Remember the “100,000 new policemen on the streets.” mantra? That was all part of that campaign.

In Russia the government would encourage gangs and hoodlums to keep the populace in terror and dependent on the government for protection. If the population had guns they wouldn’t have been as easily terrorized.

That is basically part of what this present refusal to control the borders is all about. The Left likes to have the gangs terrorizing people. The other part is turning these illegals into illegal voters for the Democrats. The Democrats also have not given up on controlling the guns either. Look at what the thugs in Chicago are doing. Repeatedly passing laws to restrict guns despite losing in court. They want quit.
