Vice President Joe Biden (half-)joked to Jay Leno on the Tonight Show this evening that he wanted to include conservative talk radio king Rush Limbaugh as part of the spy swap that took place earlier today with Russia.
The Obama administration has targeted Limbaugh as an enemy of the regime since it came to power in January 2009.
The Associated Press reported on Biden's appearance on the Tonight Show:
Leno then showed a sultry photo of alleged Russian agent Anna Chapman and asked: "Are our spies this hot?"
Biden's reply, in a mock-serious tone: "Let me be clear. It was not my idea to send her back."
The vice president also said he had one more suggestion for the deal that was ignored.
"I thought they'd take Rush Limbaugh," he said.
Joking about Soviet-style exiling of your political opponents is apparently in fashion in the Obama administration. For the foreseeable future, Rush Limbaugh better make sure it's the real EIB One he's flying.
I wonder if we arrange an exchange of morons with Russia.
Excepting the Adam Clymer open mic incident? (And that was during the campaign, IIRC.) No. Not once I can think of. Yet with Barry, it happens in nearly every public utterance. Among many most telling contrasts.
“we will give u russia straight up obama for a center for the bruins”
How about Obama for a spare referee and 20 rubles? If that’s a problem, make it yuan.
LOL!
In exchange for Biden we’d probably have to absorb an entire province’s worth of village idiots, but it’d be worth it.
Dumbden is living proof that as*holes can walk and talk.

He is so out of touch. If the commies were going to take someone, they would want a progressive (snicker) like you, Joe, not a conservative.
It's amazing how every member of this administration regime is sooo thin skinned. The slightest criticism and they go into a tizzy.
oh yeah...can’t wait for Monday!
Well, HST did threaten to slug a critic for panning his daughter’s performance. And you can’t say Kennedy didn’t try to drop the dignity thing with his Marilyn Monroe birthday party bash, the media just wouldn’t play along.
Valerie Plame/Joe Wilson. Hee hee! Look what you wrote!
Sad that our elected officals make such statements of a citizen. He can say that after he is no longer VP, but as the representative of all Americans it is in poor taste to mock anyone.
My thoughts exactly. What a disgrace...shameful disgrace to have the VP of the United States sitting down, making jokes on national t.v. Distasteful ones at that. My gosh...we have sunk so far in this country; I don’t see how we’ll ever reverse course.
