Oh! Don’t remind me. Sold my daddy’s slant six in ‘95. Didn’t know what a treasure it was. Just that it was a pain to fix.

I had a '71 Duster. It was a dream to work on the engine. Easy access to just about everything except one of the oil pan bolts. That required me to buy a one half inch 1/4 inch drive 12 point socket. The 3/8 inch drive was 12 point but too big. Neither the open end nor the closed end wrench would fit. The six point wouldn't turn the bolt far enough.

When the frame fell apart it was done, but the engine would start right up.

And you didn't need to have a degree in computers to work on them.
