Let us pray that his successor will be more inclined to vote for lower taxes, less government, and more individual freedom. Let us objectively expose the harm he has done while still praying for his salvation. And most of all, let us never hesitate to point out the truth about what these corrupt politicians have done to destroy freedom, whether they did it from ignorance, arrogance, or because they were just plain evil.
We might not always know which one of these was the cause, but the deleterious effects of their actions need to be recognized and exposed.
It’s neither necessary nor appropriate to discuss whether the Senator from KKK was a pig. I am not happy that he died, although I am ecstatic that he will no longer be in what used to be our Senate.
Where was Byrd during WWII? He was rabble rousing and organizing Klaverns for the KKK while our brave men and women in the military were dying to protect this country.
The Left (Communists) have been trying to subvert this country for over 100 yrs. They need and seek power to accomplish their goals. Any tactic is OK to that end. One of those tactics is that any Democrat, whose party they control, can do no wrong no matter how despicable they may be. After all, they count as a number for the Left in the game of control.
Hypocrisy?? They laugh that we think hypocrisy is dishonest. There is no dishonesty for them. They are Evil in Action.
They should have shoved a pork chop up his ass before they buried him! Good riddance!
I’ve already paid tribute to Robert Byrd - I hung my white bedsheets out on a clothesline to dry.
He used to keep civil rights legislation bottled up for over a decade.
Almost heaven, West Virgnia? It’s a miracle: in a short visit I paid to that state the other week I only saw one thing named after Sheets. Then again, I didn’t spend much time there (a walk along the Ohio river in Wheeling, a history museum, a prison tour, and a sports bar, then it was off to
Pennsylvania). I’m sure if I spent a little more time I would have driven on the Byrd parkway and seen a lot more named after him.
From what I saw (route 2, route 250), it ain’t Beverly Hills
by a longshot. Good job, Grand Exalted Cyclops of the KKK.
Hey, visit WV. Your tax dollars helped pay for it, no matter where you’re from. They didn’t really improve the lot of the people there, but they did name a lot of nice
things, I’ve heard, after the fiddlin’ Klansman.
