Anyone with more than a five minute memory, would understand what you’re saying, but most of the people I see are convinced Fiorina is a bright shining Conservative.
Oh boy, we may get to replace Boxer(D)...
...with Fiorina (Boxer)(R).
As a party, we Republicans have found the hammer to rebuild with, but unfortunately we keeping hitting ourselves in the head with it.
DeVore? Who needs him. We’re gonna WIN!!!!!!
Yep, another Leftist victory, just what the nation needs...
Time to get past the primary and focus on defeating Boxer. Fiorina is a staunch economic conservative which is what the state and nation needs more of in the Senate. Let’s focus on the battle at hand and not battles of the past.
"They will fix you. They fix everything. Come to the Dark Side.... Just turn to that old bimbo Boxer and say to her that "You've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?
Actually the front runner for the republican primary, and the one that Fiorina defeated to win the primary was Tom Campbell.
Campbell supports abortion rights and gay marriage, and argues that Boxers greatest asset against either of his two Republican opponents, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina and state Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, would be the states decidedly un-conservative social views.
She has always been able to move the debate over to the social issues. She will not be able to do that against me, Campbell told POLITICO.
During the campaign for U.S. Senate in 2000, Campbell touted his 100 percent pro-choice voting record. He opposed a ban on partial birth abortions, one of the most horrific abortion practices. (Conservatives Agonize Backing Campbell, Roll Call, August 7, 2000.)
Campbell in 1992 made abortion the center stage of his campaign. In the 1992 election, Campbells TV ad ran with the following caption: For choice, for jobs, for U.S. Senate. In another ad, he said, Im pro-choice and one of the most conservative members of Congress when it comes to spending. In a Republican debate, he described his abortion views, as good for voters looking for someone who is willing to break with the party line from time to time.
